Obama: The Illegal Children are Our Future

by Rush Limbaugh - Jun 13,2014

RUSH: All of these kids, these illegal alien children coming across the border, there was an assertion at WorldNetDaily.com. “An organization of former Border Patrol agents Wednesday charged that the federal government … is deliberately arranging for a flood of immigrant children to arrive in America for political purposes. ‘This is not a humanitarian crisis. It is a predictable, orchestrated and contrived assault on the compassionate side of Americans by her political leaders that knowingly puts minor illegal alien children at risk for purely political purposes,’ said the statement released by the National Association of Former Border Patrol Officers.”

Now, that’s not hard to believe. When in the entire history of this country have thousands of children just suddenly decided on their own to walk hundreds of miles and cross several national borders to get to the United States?

And didn’t this just pop up in the last week or two? How did this happen? I’m not aware, in my life, of tens of thousands of children, at the same time, storming and swamping the border. I’m just not aware of it. So it is unprecedented. You know, Obama was out making a speech somewhere, and he was telling the audience — it was a fundraiser audience.

He was telling this particular audience that our future rests on the success of DREAM kids, DREAM Act kids. It was Wednesday night, Obama at a fundraiser/press conference. It was in Massachusetts at Worcester Tech, and he said (summarized), “About 30 to 40% of the kids in this school, by the way, are DREAM kids. You wouldn’t know it by looking at them because they’re as American as apple pie, but every single one of these kids…

“You might not be able to tell the difference, but a whole bunch of them, they’re worried about whether or not they’re gonna be able to finance their college education because of their immigrant status. They’re worried about whether, in fact, this country they love so deeply loves them back and understands that our future rests on their success. Why wouldn’t we want to give them that certainty that they are a part of the fabric of this nation, that we’re counting on them and we’re gonna make them succeed?

“Why wouldn’t we want to do that?”

Excuse me? I want to make sure that I understand this. Obama’s at Worcester Tech, and he is speaking for the Democrat Senatorial Campaign Committee. It’s fundraiser stuff. And he said, “Our future rests on the success of DREAM kids.” Mr. Snerdley, for those who do not know, what are DREAM kids? What are we talking about here? (interruption) Mmm-hmm. (interruption) Mmm-hmm. (interruption) Mmm-hmm.

Children brought here illegal from other countries who are allowed to stay as part of the DREAM Act. With total amnesty. All right, what is the DREAM Act? (interruption) But our future? Obama is saying our future rests on the success of these kids. What the hell? Now, nothing against these kids, but we have to define terms here. When Obama says, “Our future rests on the success of DREAM kids,” he’s not talking about America, folks.

He’s not talking about Main Street. He’s not talking about the United States. He’s talking about the Democrat Party. Make no mistake. This is at a Democrat Senatorial Campaign Committee fundraiser at Worcester Tech in Massachusetts. When he says, “Our future rests on the success of DREAM kids,” he says, “These are our future voters. We want ’em to succeed. We want ’em to get here; we want ’em to stay here.”

Look at this. They’re worried, these DREAM kids. Now, I don’t know about you, but we’re talking what? What age group would you suggest we’re talking about here, Snerdley? Teenagers and younger, right? (interruption) Teenagers and younger. Obama says they are worried about whether, in fact, America — which they love so deeply — loves them back.

They worry whether or not we understand that our future rests on their success. These teenagers, they’re sitting around, they talk amongst themselves, and they are saying, “Gee, I wonder if the American people realize that their future depends on our success.” This is what Obama says they’re talking about, and he said, “Why wouldn’t we want to give them, the DREAM kids, the certainty that they are part of the fabric of this nation, that we are counting on them, and that we are gonna make sure they succeed.

“Why wouldn’t we want to do that” as Democrats? So these young people, he said, “They’ve graduated; they’re ready to go to college. But also certified nurses, EMT folks. Many of them are choosing to join the military, and they will contribute to our country. And looking out as I was speaking to them and then shaking their hands and giving them hugs and high fives, and all things that kids do at a graduation, I thought to myself:

“‘How can we not want to invest in these kids? How could we not want to invest in these DREAM kids?'” Fine and dandy, but what about everybody else? What makes them special? (interruption) No, no, no. Seriously, what makes them special? What makes them special is that they are seen as future registered Democrats. That’s what makes them special.

RUSH: Look, I have a smart-aleck question. That’s what this is, but it’s a good one, and my smart-aleck question is rooted in a reminder. Remember what Obama and the Democrats think about America. They believe that we have stolen much of what we have that has made us a superpower. They believe that we have sent our military all over the world and we have plundered and stolen resources like oil, you name it.

We’ve impoverished the world, and we’re not a legit superpower, and we’re unjust and immoral, and our founding is suspect and so forth. They believe this, okay? So here’s Obama at Worcester Tech, and he’s talking about the greatness of these DREAM kids and how we need ’em. “Oh-ho-ho! Our success depends on these DREAM kids coming to America and being successful, ’cause they’re special kids. They are really special kids!

“That’s why they get in here. They are really, really special. They are the future of America.” Well, if they are so great for the US, why aren’t they great for their native countries? If they’re great for us, I assume they’d be great for Mexico. If they’re great for us — if they’re really, really going to determine our future — why wouldn’t they determine the future of Guatemala, El Salvador, et cetera?

And then, folks, is it right for us to steal the hope and future and future greatness of Mexico, Guatemala, and El Salvador by taking these young gifts of love away from those countries? What gives us the right, I ask? What gives us the right to take these young kids who determine the future? They’re so talented, they’re so good, they’re so important, that our future rests on them. What about Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, where they are from?

Why are we stealing the future from these other countries?

I thought that’s the kind of thing we did that Obama thought was unjust, immoral, and had to stop.

RUSH: Back to the DREAM children. Look, folks, I admit it’s a smart-aleck question, but it’s a damn good one. This administration, Barack Obama, is guided by the words of Reverend Wright. Reverend Wright says that white man’s greed runs a world in need or some such thing. It is unquestionable inarguable, undeniable, that Obama and American leftists believe this country is a pretender, that we never really were a legitimate superpower.

“We only got what we had by stealing it. We colonized other parts of the world, and we were mean to people. We took their oil. We took their resources. We made ourselves rich; we kept them poor. We subjugated them.” That’s what they think. Okay, fine. Now here are these DREAM kids, and Obama goes, “They are the future! They are the future of this country.” Well, if they’re that special, why aren’t they special to the countries in which they were born?

What gives us the right to take them?

“Well, we didn’t take ’em, Rush. They left on their own.”

Well, I don’t care. We’re certainly trying to take them. Obama’s making a big push for ’em. But the point is if they’re our future — if they’re so crucial, if they’re so good, so special — then why aren’t they special to where they came from: Guatemala, El Salvador, Mexico? Why are we comfortable stealing the future of those countries? The answer is: It’s a Democrat voter-registration drive. If you understand that, it all becomes clear.

RUSH: The Daily Caller has a story about the influx, the tens of thousands of — well, I guess they’re the future of America that are being kept at military bases and bus stations in California and Arizona. “The US Department of Health and Human Services is welcoming members of Congress and their senior staff to tour a temporary shelter being used to house illegal immigrant children — but the invite comes with a list of rules, including a suggestion that members leave their cellphones,” i.e., cameras, “in their vehicles.

“The 40-minute tour will take place Friday at the Ventura County Naval Base in Oxnard, Calif., according to the email invitation, obtained by The Daily Caller. The tours are meant to give members and staffers an inside look at how temporary facilities are being used to house illegal immigrant –” futures of the nation “– children who came to the US without their parents. The minors, who hail mostly from El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala, are being called ‘Unaccompanied Children,’ or UACs.” And no photos are being permitted on the tour.

Congress can go look, but they are told to shut up, no phone calls while they’re there, and no pictures are permitted. A staffer, who made it plain spelling out the rules, said, “Don?’t talk to anyone, don?’t record anything you might happen to see, but come visit us and we?’ll give you a sanitized story with only the photos and accounts we want you to have.”

And that’s what’s going on.

RUSH: Here’s Bob in Hughesville, Maryland. You’re up first. Great to have you, sir. Hi.

CALLER: Thank you taking my call, Rush.

RUSH: You bet.

CALLER: I hope you’re hitting them well. I wanted to say, you know, I’m sitting here watch this stuff with all these illegal voters coming into the country. I heard today that they’ll be bringing quite a few of them up here to Virginia. I’ve been thinking about it, and it seems to me a pretty good strategic move on his part. I mean, if you can flood Virginia, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico with a hundred thousand new illegal voters, you pretty much have locked up the electoral college. I don’t know off the top of my head what Texas is worth, but, I mean, they don’t need much more. I mean, if they just win Florida or Ohio, they’ve got the presidency locked up in those two states. If you give ’em Texas, Arizona, and Virginia, we now have a king or queen, whichever one of them runs. So, I mean, it’s a brilliant strategy. I don’t understand why the Republicans don’t see what’s going on with this.

RUSH: They do. They want in on it.

CALLER: Well, they’re killing us up here on these jobs. I mean, you can’t get on a site anymore unless you speak Spanish. They’ve taken over the construction market.

RUSH: Let me ask you a question. By the way, when you say “they” are preparing to flood Virginia with a hundred thousand illegals, who is “they”?

CALLER: Obama, the Democrats.

RUSH: Okay.

CALLER: Whoever’s pushing these illegals, cause this is definitely coordinated through the government. I mean, they’re busing them across the border from what I understand. They’re supposed to bring in a hundred thousand of them —

RUSH: There’s two things, two things. They have flooded Texas, and the Republicans own the state.

CALLER: I doubt they keep up with that pace.

RUSH: No, the Democrats have a different strategy for Texas, but you’re right. If they ever got Texas —

CALLER: It’s over.

RUSH: It is. They don’t need anything else.

CALLER: It’s over.

RUSH: They keep New York and California. But, look, things have consequences out there, Bob. If you flood Virginia with a hundred thousand, you just bring ’em in, illegals, that start infiltrating the job market, everything else, the people that live there are not gonna just sit there and twiddle their thumbs, “Oh, hi, how are you, welcome.”

CALLER: Well, that’s what they’ve been doing so far.

RUSH: Look what happened to Eric Cantor. If you flood Virginia with a hundred thousand illegals, you’re gonna even have some Democrats revolt at this.

CALLER: Not in northern Virginia, Rush. If you’re gonna ask my opinion, Virginia’s gone. Northern Virginia, I work around the DC area.

RUSH: I know northern Virginia’s the DC suburbs and so forth.

CALLER: It’s gone. I’m just telling you now, I mean, I go on job sites, I don’t speak Spanish and there’s no way I can even compete with the Spanish because I don’t speak it.

RUSH: Maybe my mistake is taking you literally. If you bring in a hundred thousand and flood Virginia in various places, there’s gonna be a backlash to it. Ask Eric Holder. The backlash is gonna happen in November and one of the fascinating things, Bob, is all of the people who are responsible for this never dump the problem in their own backyards. We’ve lost northern Virginia, but not because of illegal immigrants or illegal immigrants only. We’ve lost northern Virginia because everybody there is a liberal Democrat working for the government. And they’ve all got their hands inside the Treasury in one way or another.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Say, can I ask another question? Why aren’t American kids special? And why aren’t American kids the future of this country? No, no, no, seriously. What kind of president talks this way? (interruption) I know. In his mind, native-born kids are the kids of the oppressors. White privileged kids are the kids of the oppressors. But what president speaks this way?

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Our last caller was Bob from Virginia, and he’s like so many Americans. He was talking about the influx of illegals, particularly these unaccompanied children, the DREAM Act children and the overall mass. We’re being swamped at the moment, at the borders. Now, the traditional answer to a caller who would call with his allegations — and let’s review his allegations.

“Rush, there are a hundred thousand of them here. We’re gonna lose Virginia. I already can’t get a contracting job in northern Virginia ’cause I don’t speak Spanish. I can’t get a job! We’re losing the country. If we lose Virginia, we’ve lost the presidency, and they’re flooding us with a hundred thousand of them, and they’re gonna do it to Texas.” Now, the normal reaction to that would go like this:

“Bob, I’m sorry. You’re wrong. This isn’t orchestrated. The Obama administration doesn’t want these people here. That’s why they’re giving these poor kids English lessons and lawyers. That’s why they’re trying to track down their parents, provide transportation for the kids to their relatives in the US so we can get ’em home. That’s why the Department of Homeland Security required that these unaccompanied alien children get family planning and full medical checks ups and we send ’em home.

“It’s all in preparation for their imminent deportation.” That’s what the normal answer would be. But it isn’t. None of that. How is this even happening? You know, we’ve got this story at World Net Daily. These former border agents are saying that this whole thing is orchestrated. I can’t think of a time in my life where tens of thousands of unaccompanied illegal children have shown up at the same time. Janet Napolitano said the border is more secure than it has ever been in the nation’s history.

So how in the world can this be happening? And again I ask the question. There’s Obama at Worcester Tech, at a Democrat Senatorial Campaign Committee fundraising event talking about DREAM kids as “the future of America.” He said, “They know and we know that our future rides in them.” What president talks this way? Do you ever remember a president speaking this way about people in violation of US law?

Look! There is that spokeswoman from the State Department that I saw over the weekend. Well, she’s gone now. She’s a classic example of a modern-educated feminazi coming out of some Ivy League school ending up in government. That’s the woman who said (sniveling), “We at the State Department, we know far more about what happened to Mr. Bergdahl than his platoon members! His platoon members might lie. They might make things up. We know far more.”

She was snarky and sniveling and arrogant and condescending and ignorant at the same time. But back to my point. I didn’t lose my train of thought. What president speaks this way? If you’re gonna talk about the future of America, normally you talk about American kids. But, you see, American kids are the children of the oppressors. American kids are the children of the white oppressors.

The privileged, white oppressors! You might think that’s a little bit extreme language-wise, but that’s exactly how they are described in mainstream, leftist enclaves. White children of privilege, oppressors. That’s the view of this country that many of them hold, and they’ve got a sympathetic president and administration running the country.

RUSH: This is Mike in Lynn, Massachusetts. Welcome to the EIB Network. Hi.

CALLER: Hi, tea drinking, cigar smoking conservative dittos, Rush.

RUSH: Thank you very much, sir.

CALLER: A couple shows ago you asked how to stop the influx into the country of all these kids. Well, they should just shut off all the aid because they’re already giving them money, and then, you know, why should they double-dip and get it twice? That’s one thing. But the other thing is, they’re coming in now. He knows that the last six years have been a Charlie foxtrot, and the Dems are probably gonna lose the Senate and the White House, the future base of the Democrat Party is the kids. He’s diluting America with these people because they don’t know the history, they don’t care, all they want is free stuff. And by the time the Democrats are back in party again, this is gonna be the future. They’re just brainwashing ’em.

RUSH: So let me see if I understand. You think the Democrats have pretty much convinced themselves that, because of their own policies they’re gonna lose the Senate —

CALLER: Yes.

RUSH: — and we’re gonna keep the House. They’re gonna be out of power. So they are beginning to groom with these young DREAM Act kids and the others that are swarming the border, they are now grooming and brainwashing their future voters and so forth. Is that what you think?

CALLER: That’s what he thinks. That’s why he’s saying it and trying to do it.

RUSH: Yeah.

CALLER: Like the other caller said earlier, you know, they flood enough states, you know, it’s an Electoral College.

RUSH: Well, I think all that’s true but I don’t think it scratches the surface what’s really going on, but I’m out of time.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: I think it was the lead item of the program today. To me this is really important and indicative, and it’s something that doesn’t get a whole lot of play. It’s a news story. It got a little mention in National Review Online. Nowhere else. It’s just kids, right? So Obama’s at Worcester Tech, Democrat Senatorial Campaign fundraiser, extolling the virtues of DREAM kids, illegal immigrant children.

He’s talking about how they’re the future of this country, and that they know it, and that we should know it. You wouldn’t even know if they’re sitting in the classroom. Thirty to 40% of the kids wherever you go, they’re dreamers, and they matter. They are the future of this country. What they are, ladies and gentlemen, are just a cog. They are one element in a grand scheme. They are one element in the effort to implement larger change.

The president said numerous times that he was going to fundamentally transform this country. And after he was elected, either that night, Grant Park or sometime later, maybe during the emancipation speech, he said that this country must be fundamentally transformed and that he was going to do that. That’s why he was elected.

Now, what is means is, capitalism has to be fixed because it’s uncool. Capitalism leads to inequality, unfairness, mean-spiritedness, a widening gap between the rich and the poor. Capitalism is basically where the poor at one time had all the money and then the rich somehow took it from them and didn’t give it back. And we have to fix the health care system because that’s been capitalist, and that’s why it’s so unfair, and that’s why it’s so expensive.

See, in Obama’s worldview and what he tells his supporters, capitalism is a rigged system where the rich rig everything for themselves and make sure everybody else is poor so that there’s never any competition for the money and the rich end up having it all. So the rich get the best health care, the rich get the best houses, the rich get the best cars, they drive on the best roads, they have the most money, and they have the healthiest kids. None of that’s fair. It just isn’t fair, it isn’t right. It’s rigged and it’s cheating and it’s what the Founding Fathers did, and Obama is fundamentally gonna fix that.

The way you fix capitalism and the way you fix health care is to take it over and then eliminate it. You are the government, you take it over, you commandeer it, you centralize it. You have to limit liberty and freedom so that people who oppose you can’t in good conscience speak freely. You instill a climate of fear. And, by the way, that is happening.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Our last caller’s real point here was the reason why the DREAM kids are the future for Obama and the Democrats is looking at things in the long term.

He’s not gonna convince, for example, Tea Party people to sit idly by while he transforms the country. He needs fresh blood that doesn’t have any roots to American history, that doesn’t have any traceable roots to the American founding. He needs to bring people in who owe their existence to him and his party. They aren’t gonna have to be taught anything. They’re not gonna have to be taught where Obama wants to take the country. They’re gonna follow because they will be obedient. And that is what a statist Regime needs, obedience.

Obama knows that he’s not gonna be able to convert, say, people like you and me into obedient followers of his plans. I’m not exaggerating any of this. This idea of transforming America, this is something that can go on, in his view, long beyond his departure from the White House. Do not underestimate the seriousness of this in terms of his intention. This is not just something he wants to work at for eight years while he’s president.

He intends to plant seeds that are growing and sprouting for decades that would result in the transformation of this country, and crucial to it is illegal immigration and people in great numbers being brought to this country who have no ties whatsoever to this country’s past. And they will buy into whatever Obama’s version of America is because they will owe their lives to him and his party. And thus they will be obedient. And that’s what a genuine statist or authoritarian type Regime needs, is obedient people.

So that is why Obama thinks the DREAM kids are the future. That’s why he says so. The thing about Obama and these guys, they’re very open about their intentions if you just listen. You go back, we’ve played the sound bites of Obama from 2001, 2003, 2007 his long-term thoughts on how to get to single-payer health care, socialized medicine, he’s been pretty honest to his supporters now and then. You just have to have the willingness to believe what you’re hearing.

So, for example, when he says of these DREAM kids, they’re the future of America, you have to pause and understand that he, A, really means it, and then why. That he’s not just trying to puff ’em up. He’s not trying to inspire ’em like a graduate commencement speech, “You are the future of this country, and our future and fortunes are on your –” It’s not like that. He really thinks that they are the future because they’re gonna be the ones totally obedient. Valerie Jarrett said that the DREAM kids, illegal aliens, are the best kids we have.

This is from The Daily Caller of three days ago, June 10th. “White House Adviser Valerie Jarrett Met ‘Four or Five Times’ with Illegal Immigrant Activist Group.” From the article it says, “‘I had met, maybe, a year-and-a-half ago, with about Four DREAM Act kids,’ Jarrett said in a 2012 conversation with Walter Isaacson at the 2012 Aspen Ideas Festival. … ‘And I’ve now met with them four or five times. And each time I would leave in tears. Because they are exactly the kind of people we would want in this country.

“‘They are the best that we have,’ Jarrett later added.”

Illegal alien kids are the best that we have. That’s in the Daily Caller, three days ago. She said this to Walter Isaacson at the Aspen Institute. Obama just yesterday says DREAM kids are the future. Why? Because they don’t know anything about American history. They don’t have to be deprogrammed. They willingly accept speech restrictions. They’ll willingly accept jobs Obama plugs them into. They will be totally obedient.

They will owe their existence to the Regime. So Valerie Jarrett, Obama, they’re telling us exactly. What else could it mean? What administration talked like this before? What administration praises the children of foreign countries and says they are the future of this country? It doesn’t ever happen, hasn’t ever happened. What about the kids that are growing up here, born here? What about American kids? Why aren’t they the future?

Well, there’s an answer. They’re not the future because they’re not sure we can count on ’em. They might rebel. They might not go along with the plan. Their parents are teaching them where they all came from, what their American roots are, what their worldwide roots are, what their contact with American history is all about. That’s why you bring in people from elsewhere who have no such ties, no such loyalties.

They’re totally obedient to you. It’s really hideous, but it’s right out in the open.

They, at times, will be very honest what they intend to do.
