RUSH: Have you heard about MTV? Have you heard about this? MTV has hired, I guess, a renowned illegal immigrant by the name of Jose Vargas Sanchez Gutierrez, whatever.

MTV is doing a documentary that essentially is devoted to the problems with white people. And this guy specifically interviews young white people and asks them what’s wrong with them and how it feels to be white. What “white privilege” has meant to the country and means to them, white guilt and all this. MTV, of course, is a network… I don’t know how popular it remains anymore. It was. At least in the Millennial demographic, it used to be king of the hill. I have no idea how popular a network it is now. But that is being done.

In fact, Cookie has given me a clip. They’ve got a trailer for this thing, and I just looked at the sound bite roster and found it here. Let me dig deep and find out what number it is because I missed it. If somebody knows what number it is, could you…? I can’t see what you would tell me anyway. It is no. 14. Let me find the transcript of it. Yep, the MTV trailer on the new white privilege. It’s a documentary. This is from the MTV website. They released the trailer. This documentary will premiere on July 22nd. It’s called “White People” and it’s hosted by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Jose Antonio Vargas, who I guess is a famous illegal immigrant.

VARGAS: So we’re doing a film for MTV on what it means to be young and white. (music)

MAN 1: If you say the wrong thing, then suddenly you are a racist.

MAN 2: I’m trying to be careful here.

WOMAN 1: I don’t want to offend people.

WOMAN 2: I feel like you guys are attacking me now.

VARGAS: How might your life be different if you weren’t white? When you say “white,” what does that mean to you?

WOMAN 3: We’ve never had to internalize what white people have done in America, but here you can’t escape that.

RUSH: “We’ve never had to internalize what white people have done to America, but here” we have to internalize it. So this is a documentary produced by an illegal immigrant that’s going to run starting July 22nd on MTV on the problems white people have caused in America. (interruption) Everybody’s shaking their head in there. “Oh, this is horrible, this is terrible.” Yeah, it is, but nobody’s going to do anything about it. It’s going to run and people are going to sit around and talk about it in an intellectual way rather than point out exactly what it is.
