The Racism of Jorge Ramos

by Rush Limbaugh - Mar 10,2017

RUSH: Now, I had some sound bites from our old buddy Jorge Ramos that I didn’t get to yesterday. He was on Tucker Carlson on Fox on Wednesday night. And Tucker, Tucker said to him, “At an event several weeks ago, you said, ‘I’m a proud Latino immigrant here in the United States. You know exactly what’s going on here in the U.S. There are many people you don’t want us to be here and who want to create a wall in order to separate us. But, you know, what? This is also our country. Let me repeat. This is our country, not theirs.’ That’s what you said, Mr. Ramos. Whose country is it, then?”

RAMOS: This is our country, it is yours, it is mine, and it is ours. The interesting thing is that with the Trump administration and many people who support Donald Trump, they think it is their country, that it is a white country, and they are absolutely wrong. This is not a white country. This is not their country. It is ours, and that’s precisely what I’m saying. Look, in 2044 the country, the white population will become a minority. It will be a minority majority country. That’s precisely what I’m saying. Latinos, Asians, African-Americans, white. It is our country, Tucker.

RUSH: That’s not what he meant. That’s not what old Jorge here meant when he first made the statement. When he first made the statement and said the United States is our country, he meant speaking as a Mexican, as a Latino. Now, it turned out, it came out later in this interview that Tucker Carlson pointed out, “You know, Jorge, you’re whiter than I am. You got blue eyes, Jorge. I don’t have blue eyes.” And it turns out that that is true.

But you notice the focus here. He can’t wait for when the white population is in the minority. He can’t wait for 2044 when the Latinos, the Asians, the African-Americans will vastly, if you combine them, outnumber the evil white devils. And that’s the same kind of thinking that’s driving all of this globalist talk that the Clinton’s and the Obamas try to disguise as progress. This is the way they talk about victims and tell people they’re victims and who they’re victims of.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: One more question from Tucker Carlson to Jorge Ramos. Maybe it’s Ramos. I’m not sure how he pronounces it. Tucker Carlson said, “The president said last week that he wants to see the legal immigration system move toward a merit-based approach, thereby in his view cutting down on the number of immigrants who can’t support themselves financially.”

Quick aside. Do you know what percentage of the American prison population is illegal immigrants? Take a wild guess. The numbers come from the U.S. Bureau of Prisons. How much? It’s 21%. You know how much it costs every year to support — a hundred grand. Twenty-one percent of the prison population is illegal immigrants.

Anyway, Tucker Carlson is saying that what we need to do, what Trump wants to do, is set up an immigration system where people come here, can support themselves, want to work, want to become Americans, cutting down on the number of people that cannot support themselves financially. And Tucker says to Jorge Ramos, “I think a lot of people hear that and they think it makes sense. Are they wrong?”

RAMOS: For some people, that could be a good idea. But, on the other hand, what many people are hearing when they listen to Donald Trump is that they want to go back to 1965. It is not “Make America Great Again.” It is “make America white again.” In 1965, for instance, about 80 or 85% of population was white. Many people don’t like the fact that this is truly becoming a multicultural, multiethnic, multiracial country. In 2044, white will become another minority. We’re in the process of becoming a minority majority country, and many people don’t like, and many people think that what Donald Trump is proposing, not only with the deportations, with this merit system, is that he wants to change this trend of multiculturalism and diversity that we’re seeing in the country.

RUSH: So he wants to make it a white country again. That doesn’t jibe with a thing Tucker Carlson asked him about. So this is clear prejudice that old Jorge Ramos is engaging in. You know, this demographic shift, the Democrat Party I think believed that it’s already happened. Remember in November 2011 the Democrat Party, Barack Obama, there was actually a newspaper column where they made it official that they were abandoning the white working class as a voting bloc that they were going to appeal to.

The Democrat Party just said to hell with ’em, and they decided that their future was going to be based on winning elections by adding as many votes from as many minority groups as they could. They decided in this last campaign, 2012 and 2014, that they were gonna become the party of this soon-to-be majority minority group that Jorge Ramos is extolling the virtues of here. And lock what happened to ’em.

Now, I don’t doubt the demographic trend is happening. Nobody doubts that. It is. But the idea that you would only want people in your country who can work, who can self-provide, be self-reliant, what in the world is wrong with that? Do you realize how that indicates the change that has taken place? The Democrat Party, I’ve told you, folks, they need a permanent underclass in this country. In a functioning American economy, there are people that improve their lot in life. They’re in the lower middle class, the middle class, they work hard, and they are upwardly mobile, and they end up in the upper middle class or higher, and they abandon the Democrat Party in the process.

The Democrat Party needs a replacement funnel that’s constantly replenishing the lower class. They need a permanent underclass, and the dumber the better, the more ill-equipped they are, the better. If they can’t speak English, even better. If they can’t provide, if they can’t work, even better, and that’s who the Democrat Party’s thrown in with. Now, somebody tell me how in the hell that improves the country. It doesn’t.

But what does it do? It certainly establishes the Democrat Party as the party in power in perpetuity if you can make a majority of the country, not even a majority, just enough people like that all voting for you, no matter what issues are going on at the time, no matter what else is happening, if you can guarantee yourself getting votes — and that’s what they’re aiming for.

And that’s why Bill Clinton wants open borders and that’s why Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton and all these people running around ripping the idea of closing borders or policing and patrolling immigration and making sure that you let people in who want to become Americans. That undermines their plans. And when people find out about it and learn about it is when the Democrats lose.
