RUSH: Last Thursday, some stunning news from the International Energy Agency. The IEA projects that America will account for over 80% of the worldwide growth in oil production over the next 10 years. They’re not happy about that. During that same period, the U.S. is expected to produce 30% more natural gas than Russia. It’s a good thing Hillary’s not in the White House. She’d sell it all to the Russians.

The head of the IEA, Fatih Birol, told a U.N. climate conference that America will become the “undisputed leader of oil and gas production worldwide.” Did you catch that? the undisputed leader!

I guarantee you: If Hillary Clinton was in the White House – upholding the Obama legacy, as she promised – there’s no way this milestone would be reached. During his eight-year run, Barack Obama did everything possible to destroy America’s oil and gas production capabilities to appease the wacko global warming crowd and to manage America’s decline.

But the American economy and the world economy run on energy from fossil fuels. Wind, solar, all that other “clean” boutique stuff that liberals love? It can’t fulfill present-day demands let alone fuel a robust, growing economy. That’s why America reigning as the undisputed leader of real energy production matters.

It means we’re coming back like a rocket — and it would not have happened had Trump not won.
