The Rush Limbaugh Show Main Menu

RUSH: This is Jeannie in Grafton, Ohio. You’re next on the Rush Limbaugh program. Hi.

CALLER: Hey, Rush! Great to talk to you!

RUSH: Thank you.

CALLER: Listen, Walmart and Dick’s have set policies that, you know, they’re not gonna sell guns to people that are 18 to 20 years old, how’s that different from a bakery who chooses it is not going to bake wedding cakes for certain gay couples? Wouldn’t both be considered discrimination? One age discrimination, one sexual orientation.

RUSH: Well, you know the answer to the question. You’re comparing guns and bullets to homosexuality.

CALLER: The cake, the cake, the cake.

RUSH: The left loves homosexuality and hates bullets.

CALLER: The cakes. I’m comparing them to cakes.

RUSH: Well, the cakes are incidental. The cakes are kind of like the trigger.

CALLER: Oh. Oh, okay.

RUSH: Yeah.

CALLER: Interesting. But aren’t these our First and Second Amendment.

RUSH: They are.

RUSH: Absolutely. Look, I’m not trying to not take seriously what you’re talking about. My reaction is the hypocrisy angle never works on ’em. It never scores. They’re hypocrites. The left are hypocrites all over the place, but you point that out, people never hold them accountable that way. So it’s never gonna stop ’em. But hypocrisy exposed on Republicans seems to work like magic. And the difference is the media.

The media is never going to hold Democrats accountable, folks. It’s just never gonna happen. The media is the Democrats. The media is not out there in any way seeking to harm or expose the Democrats or the American left. They’re the engine, they’re the cake, they’re the trigger, they’re whatever. They’re the bullet, they’re everything. The media is the source of power, the primary source of power for everything that happens in this country on the left. But look, I understand your thinking. If you could use that to persuade some citizens, then go for it. I am all for it.
