Rush App Updated Again

by Rush Limbaugh - Jul 5,2018

RUSH: I meant to mention this in the first hour. We have updated the RushLimbaugh.com app today. It’s a relatively minor update, you know, the usual bug fixes and performance improvements. But we had to fix something with the sorting of download podcasts. They weren’t being sorted properly according to choice, alphabetical order or by date. That’s all been fixed now.

And when you share Rush’s Famous Quotes — and of course this is a daily thing that many users of RushLimbaugh.com and the app do — because I have Famous Quotes all over the place out there, and people share ’em. And when you share the Famous Quotes, they now link back to the app rather than laying out there in the ether. And it’s basically been streamlined and shaped up.

And this is another reminder here that we have upgraded the EIB store that you can access either from the website, RushLimbaugh.com, or the app with all new stuff. It’s state-of-the-art stuff in terms of the price point for like the golf polo shirts. These are incredible. They’re dry fit so they’re the kind of material that doesn’t sweat, absorbs moisture, you can dry clean ’em or launder ’em however many times, and they look brand-new. I insisted on this.

I insisted on nothing cheap in there. The cap is a quality cap. We found the best merchandise for the price point that we wanted to sell all the stuff. Lots of great T-shirts and stuff. And we’re already out of stock on some stuff, but we’re in the constant restocking business here. So we’ve upgraded the RushLimbaugh.com app for both — I think we’ve got the Android version upgraded today, too. I know the iPhone, the iPad iOS version update dropped today.

And I’m pretty sure it happened on the Google Play store as well as, although I’m not personally familiar with how things happen on the Google Play store, if they are as timely and rapid. I know software updates on Google don’t even happen. System software updates. Do you know there are people on Android — Brian, did you know this? People using an Android phone from the day they buy it ’til the day they get rid of it there’s not a single system upgraded?

Apple will upgrade the system four or five times a year, sometimes more, and Android just can’t because there are so many different vendors, so many manufacturers, so many different companies, cellular companies that it’s just impossible to coordinate a system upgrade. So they don’t. You have to get a new phone to get the latest Android system. But I find that doesn’t bother Android people too much ’cause they like Android phones for different reasons. Anyway, up and running at RushLimbaugh.com, the store and the app upgrade.
