RUSH: Talon is our next call, Appleton, Wisconsin. This is where visiting teams stay when they go to play the Packers. How are you doing?
CALLER: Good. Merry Christmas.
RUSH: Thank you very much.
CALLER: Thank you for doing your live show today. I don’t really get to listen to you much because of school.
CALLER: Yeah. I have a question about your Rush Revere books.
CALLER: Are you making another book?
RUSH: At the moment, no. But it’s something that we’re always thinking about. We actually did one more book than we had intend to do when this all started, and we had hoped that the Rush Revere series would be gangbuster successful, and it has been.
RUSH: (sigh) So we go back and back and forth on it, Talon. I wish I could tell you guaranteed for sure there’s gonna be a new one and if that day ever comes, I’ll make sure that I prominently announce it. I’m just gratified as I can be that you like them.
CALLER: Yeah, and I learn so much from them. My dad introduced them to me when I was fairly young, and I just, like, really love them.
RUSH: How old were you when you were fairly young and started reading them?
CALLER: I don’t know; 7?
RUSH: You’re 11 now. So four, seven eight years ago. Well, who’s your favorite character?
RUSH: Liberty, the talking horse, is everybody’s favorite character, ’cause he’s a smart aleck.
RUSH: Well, I’ll tell you what. You know what, Talon? If you’ll hang on, let me get your address, ’cause everybody that calls us that loves the Revere books we send them a little package from Rush Revere and Liberty and the gang there where they live. It’s just some stuff for us to say thank you, thank you to you for enjoying the books and your enthusiasm for them. It’s really great, and I’m glad you’re getting a lot of out of them. I really am. It makes my day.
So thank you for calling. Have a Merry Christmas with your family, Talon, okay? And I’m really glad you got to hear the program. I’m glad I came in to do it today.
