RUSH: In Virginia this week, Democrat legislator Kathy Tran introduced a bill that would legalize late-term abortion on demand even when a woman is in labor, even in the 4th trimester after the baby is born.

The bill echoes the law just signed by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, to a huge Democrat standing ovation. The New York law gives women the right to abort full-term babies, and to terminate them outside the womb if they somehow survive the abortion in the 4th trimester. Straight up killing.

Virginia Democrat Kathy Tran wants women in her state to get in on this precious opportunity. Her legislation would repeal a ban on late-term abortions, and allow Virginia women to get rid of their kids the same way New York woman can.

Kathy Tran said her bill removes the burdensome requirements currently placed on women. It’s about “freedom.” Supposedly.

People all over the country have expressed shock and outrage that Ms. Tran wants to emulate New York.

The time for shock and outrage has long since passed. These people have been trending in this direction for 30 years. Killing is the new normal for the Democrat Party. At least that’s what they want.
