RUSH: Hi. Welcome back. Rush Limbaugh, meeting and surpassing way beyond audience expectations every day. And we’re gonna start on the phones today in Detroit. This is Eric. Welcome, sir. Great to have you with us on the EIB Network. Hi.

CALLER: Good afternoon, Mr. Limbaugh. Just a quick point about something you had said earlier in the show about the weaponization of the judicial department and all the assets that they have in their favor. The one thing that I noticed — not that you’re painting a hopeless situation, but a very truthful situation of all the assets they have in their favor as, you know, Fake Media, i.e., things like that. So the one thing I didn’t notice though is truth.

And you said the things that we have on our side is that people who are conservative and the people who are believers in this, and I think that truth is what we do have, and I think it’s the biggest asset that we have. Because over thousands and thousands of years of society, I know it’s cliche, but truth will out. And I believe that the truth will out in this, and I believe that we do have that in our favor, and I think that destroys every single asset that they have because theirs are based on lies.

RUSH: Well, you know, I am optimistic as you are when it comes to things like this. I can’t tell people why. “Rush, why aren’t you all worried?” Because I think it’s gonna work out. “How?” I don’t know. Who can explain attitudinal optimism. “Well, what strategy is gonna make it –“ “I don’t know. I don’t have the strategy. I just think it’s gonna work out.”

And I think largely, as you say, it is a reliance on truth. Now, you realize a lot of people think truth is worthless because they don’t think the truth is winning anything right now, Eric. They think the truth is the biggest casualty right now and that there’s no way for the truth to triumph.

CALLER: I agree, unfortunately. But, you know, like I said, for thousands of years of society, truth will out, and truth isn’t very politically expedient or savvy right now, but for those of us that still have values left, truth will out.

RUSH: Well, we found out in 2016 — this is one of the ways that I look at it. Can’t rely on it. You hope for it. But it’s the reason when I listed the assets that we’re up against, talking about the assets that they’ve got, they’ve got the deep state, they’ve got all of Washington, they’ve got the mainstream media. You could throw identity politics in their asset list. They’ve got flooding this country with open borders.

You know, they’re not worried about whether those people are vaccinated or not, but boy, your kid better be. If you’re allowed to have your kid. They’ve got Hollywood. They’ve got major American academic institutions, Wall Street and all that at their disposal, and yet Trump still wins, folks. They had all that in 2016, and Trump still won.

And so the truth here that Eric is talking about, you know where it is, it’s in that 51, 52% of the people that we all sit here and think are getting fooled. Isn’t that one of the reasons people get down in the dumps, you think the media is winning everything, everybody’s being fooled by this, everybody, “Rush, you gotta shout it even louder. People don’t get it.” A lot of people do. The truth is out there. Why do you think the Democrats are fudging on this impeachment business?
