RUSH: The media is obsessing over the term “electability.” NBC news says it’s the most important but least understood word in the 2020 presidential race.

Why is this even a story? Well, because Democrats still haven’t gotten over 2016. They are so rattled that Donald Trump is president, they’re telling pollsters they’ll vote for whoever can defeat him, even if they don’t like the person.

The problem is, nobody can figure out who that is. The voters don’t know, and the political professionals don’t have any idea who can beat Trump.

Right now, Democrats are getting the impression from media coverage that the most “electable” Democrat is Joe “Plugs” Biden. If he really is, they’ll throw in with him. But they remain skittish and they really don’t think so.

You Democrats have 25 candidates to choose from. In the end, it won’t matter which one you go with. They’re all cut from the same progressive, socialist-almost-communist cloth. So just flip a coin, roll the dice, throw a dart at the wall. It doesn’t make any difference. Whoever you pick in 2020 is not electable, because they’re all leftist socialists. If that doesn’t help, nothing will.
