RUSH: With the Drive-By Media in election-analysis overdrive, Politico has just noticed another reason for Democrats to be unhappy.

Now so far, Democrats didn’t take over the Senate, as they believed they would. They did not expand their reach in the House. There was no blue wave. But here’s more bad news for them.

Politico reports that Democrats performed horribly in the state legislative races and that this state power deficit is going to impact American politics for at least the next decade. Politico warns this could ultimately mean more Republicans in both Washington and in state capitols across the fruited plain.

Now, remember something, folks: Because of Barrack Hussein Obama, Democrats posted horrific losses in many state legislatures. The country was so disgusted after the first two years of Obama, Democrats lost over 700 seats; everything from dog catcher to the Senate. Republicans took over the majority of state legislatures.

Ever since, the Democrats have been trying to get those back. They have failed, and the predicted “blue wave” that never materialized has totally demoralized them because they failed again.

Because of the census, and the Republicans will control most of the redistricted seats for the next five election cycles! And they ought to use that power to the fullest extent possible without apology, because elections do indeed have consequences.
