RUSH: As part of the promotional push for Rush Revere and the Brave Pilgrims… The book released yesterday, and it is huge, and that’s all you, folks. Again, I’m practically paralyzed here with gratitude in terms of how to express it. But one of the things that Simon & Schuster, the publisher, asked me to do was sit for an interview conducted by them that they would eventually put on YouTube, explaining the book, why, how, what for, objective, this kind of thing.
I did it. Even though I’m not big on video, I did it, and it came out well. We’ve posted it at RushLimbaugh.com today. We’ve also put it on our

Facebook page, and the TwoIfByTea.com website is filled with interactive opportunities for your kids. Once they start reading the book, there are all kinds of interactive opportunities — actually for everybody. You can send Rush Revere an e-mail just by clicking on the mailbox at TwoIfByTea.com — and Liberty, the talking horse, is already getting fan mail.

It’s so fun. It’s so much fun.

The horse is getting e-mail!

I’m sure some of the other characters are going to be as well. Remember, I want to pass on two things. If you have received an e-mail from either Amazon or Barnes & Noble or iBooks saying that the release date was moved and that there has been a delay in fulfilling your order, we’ve seen those. We got one. It isn’t true. There hasn’t been any delay. The book was released yesterday on the scheduled day, and hundreds of thousands of ’em went out yesterday.

So we are working on that, trying to get to the bottom of why. I think it’s volume related to tell you the truth. I think a lot of places are just having trouble. The point is if you have ordered it, there is not a delay. There are plenty of books out there, and yours will be coming. A friend of mine has a bunch of kids, seven to 13 years old, and they were reading the book with their kids, and they said it was a little bit above the reading level of their seven-year-old.

But they popped the audio version in the car as they’re driving around, and the seven-year-old loved it. The audio version is me, by the way. This is another reason I did this, folks, is to expand the universe of this program. You like the program. I like it. I mean, it’s constituted with content that’s related to the greatness of America and exceptionalism and we are trying to expand it to people that ordinarily wouldn’t find talk radio, particularly young people. This is one of the reasons for the book.

RUSH: Okay, folks, a little book recon, Barnes & Noble. If you go to Barnes & Noble to try buy Rush Revere and the Brave Pilgrims, you might, in some stores, have to find the kids’ section rather than the display being prominent up front as it is in some of the Barnes & Noble stores.

So just a little recon. If you don’t see it right when you walk in, you might have to go to the kids’ section, and depending on the clerks that work there, you might have to go to the cooking section. And depending on where you go, you might find the cover backside out, depending on where you go, depending on the clerks. You’ve been there, you’ve done that. You know how this works. We have our spies out doing recon. As we learn things we pass it on to you. The most important thing is to have fun with this. That was the intention.

RUSH: Recon from Hawaii near the Kahala Mall. Indeed, Rush Revere and the Brave Pilgrims is in the kids’ section. Kahala is one of the upscale areas of Oahu, and it’s just down the road from Waikiki. And the Barnes & Noble at Kahala, yep, in the kids’ section. That’s Obama’s home state. We’re lucky it’s not in the plumbing section or the home repair section or some such thing. And it could well end up there depending.
