RUSH: I was able to play "Name That Tune" for the first time in 13 years on Friday night. Normally, the only music I could listen to was that which I had heard before I went deaf, and even then I had to know what it was.
RUSH: I see the picture of Mrs. Obama in the diplomatic reception room, and I'm sure it took a bunch of different takes to get her facial expression just right, the proper mixture of solemnity and concern and deep caring with the sign, the hashtag, #BringBackOurGirls. And I knew when I pointed this out that the Drive-Bys were going to have a fit. That once again they would all be talking about the insensitivity of Rush Limbaugh and the backwardness and the just refusal to adapt to a changing world. Rush Limbaugh just doesn't understand things. And, low and behold, it's happened.
RUSH: Victor Davis Hanson, you know, one of my favorite writers, National Review Online, has a very long piece that he published six days ago and I just found it. It was just brought to my attention over the weekend. None of this is gonna be new to you. You all know it. I just want to share with you the way Victor Davis Hanson says it. He's written about this before. He chronicles what he considers to be the eventual collapse of the left. That's why I disagree with it. I don't see them collapsing. I see them living. I see liberalism expanding. I see it growing. I see it dominating more and more of our culture.
The fourth-ranking Democrat in the House of Representatives used his position to smear a Republican Senator for not voting properly according to his race.
Gallup Finds Big Enthusiasm Gap... Is Climate Change Making Earth Expand?.. Obama's White House Solar Panels Won't Even Light Up a Room...
RUSH: Timothy Geithner says the White House wanted him to lie on a Sunday show. It's in his new book. Not surprising. But I guarantee you there are gonna be a lot of people who are gonna be shocked at this. "What do you mean Obama would have him lie?" Well, ever heard of Susan Rice?
RUSH: Let's talk about George H. W. Bush for a second. You remember Mogadishu?
RUSH: The Southern Poverty Law Center, this Mark Potok clown -- and others -- has put the Boy Scouts of America at the top of groups who hate and who are bigoted because of their refusal to have gay scoutmasters and so forth. Yet this happened. I don't know how. There's a picture of this group of Boy Scouts, and there's not a one of them looks like a hater to me, or a bigot.
RUSH: If the Democrats want to abandon this thing or boycott it, that's just fine with me. They can't turn it into a circus and distract it and basically destroy it. That's why I think they eventually will show up so that they can do that.
RUSH: So I checked the e-mail in the break, and there's, surprisingly (I say surprisingly), a number of e-mails asking, "Why aren't you talking about Michael Sam being picked by the St. Louis Rams?" Look, folks. (sigh) The reason is that none of it is surprising. If you go back and ratchet up your memory of last week, I told you I was very, very confident that he was gonna be drafted.
RUSH: They've been playing Sterling excerpts of an interview with Anderson Cooper all day because it runs in its entirety tonight. They're gonna interrupt coverage of the Malaysian jet for their full-fledged interview with Donald Sterling. In this interview he said, "I don't think Magic's a good example for the children of LA."
