RUSH: Did you hear this? “A federal judge has decided to make permanent an injunction overturning ArizonaÂ’s ban on issuing driverÂ’s licenses to young immigrants who were brought to the United States illegally as children.” These are the Dreamers.

“Judge David G. Campbell of Federal District Court issued the permanent injunction on Thursday, citing the ‘irreparable harm’ caused to the young immigrants by not being able to have a license under an executive order issued by former Gov. Jan Brewer. Ms. Brewer, a Republican who left office this month, argued that President Obama did not have the authority to act unilaterally in deferring deportations.”

See, who cares about the law? The federal judge doesn’t care about the law. The law, I mean, big deal. Illegal aliens have a civil right to drive in our country, the judge said. And there’s nobody that can say otherwise. The governor of Arizona and whoever else in Arizona who tried to prevent illegals from getting drivers licenses, they don’t have that right. Everybody knows because I’m proclaiming it today as a federal judge that illegal aliens have a civil right to drive in the US. And furthermore, do you know what else? They don’t have to have insurance. They can get a driver’s license and they don’t have to have insurance, aliens.

“In the ruling, Judge Campbell cited examples of penalized immigrants, including one man unable to pursue a career as a firefighter because the local department required a license, and a graphic designer whose days were consumed by commuting by public transportation to meet clients.” That’s not fair. That’s not fair. These illegals are contributing mightily to our society. Illegals are contributing mightily to our culture. They’re firefighters and graphic designers and they have to take public transportation or they can’t get hired. It isn’t fair. So a federal judge said you gotta let them have drivers licenses.

“So what, Rush. Why do you oppose it?”

A driver’s license is what? It’s a photo ID. What do you get to do with that? Vote. It’s about voting, folks. It isn’t about driving. It’s not about drivers licenses. It’s not about automobile insurance. It’s about finding a way for the illegal aliens to start voting sooner than anybody thought possible. I mean, you go to the right Democrat precinct, you have a driver’s license, it doesn’t matter if you’re registered or not. They’ll find a way to get you to vote. That’s what this is all about. By the way, I thought, aren’t the employers of these illegal aliens breaking the law? Graphic designers hiring illegals, that’s not legal. Right? And fire departments hiring illegals, that’s not legal. Right?

I guess it is. The judge said that he’ll ignore those laws because there’s a human need. A human civil right need for illegals to be able to drive. You can’t be an American if you can’t drive. So all these other laws, brooming them. And that’s what happened. Meanwhile, on the subject of Arizona, this is from our ol’ buddies at Campus Reform. Headline: “White Professor Teaches ‘Problem of Whiteness’ Course at Arizona State University — At Arizona State University (ASU), students can now learn about the ‘problem of whiteness’ in America.

“The public university is offering an English class to its students this semester called ‘Studies in American Literature/Culture: U.S. Race Theory & the Problem of Whiteness.'”

This is an English class. “According to the class description on ASUÂ’s website, students will be reading The Possessive Investment in Whiteness, Critical Race Theory, Everyday Language of White Racism, Playing in the Dark, and The Alchemy of Race and Rights. At time of publication, 18 students were enrolled in the course offered at ASUÂ’s Tempe campus. Students can receive three credits for successfully completing the course.”

Here again, the reading material. I’ll go through the list again. The Possessive Investment in Whiteness, Critical Race Theory, Everyday Language of White Racism, Playing in the Dark, and The Alchemy of Race and Rights.

James Malone, a junior economics major, student, i.e. said to Campus Reform: “I think it shows the significant double standard of higher education institutions. They would never allow a class talking about the problem of ‘blackness.’ And if they did, there would be an uproar about it. But you can certainly harass people for their apparent whiteness.”

Come on, Mr. Malone. Everyone knows that black men’s greed doesn’t run a world in need. That’s white man’s greed doing that, to quote Jeremiah Wright. So big news out of Arizona. You’re not going to hear about this anywhere today more than likely. Well, you might, but you won’t hear about it in the news media because there isn’t any news media.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

Here’s Philip in Redlands, California. Welcome, sir. Glad to have you with us. Hi.

CALLER: Thank you, Rush. And keep up the great work you do and keep good things on the table.

RUSH: It’s a habit. Appreciate that.

CALLER: Rush, this is a quick one on football. You go out and check the pressure on your car’s tire when they’re cold and check it when they’re hot and have a second opinion too, but I’ll move on to what I originally wanted to talk about. The two black, the African-Americans that both got shot, Brown and Garner, both of those persons were reduced to peddling cigarettes on the street and the other one couldn’t afford to buy cigars so he had to steal. Now, to pass the blame on to somebody —

RUSH: Let me tell you something, this is an excellent point. I remember talking about it, particularly this Eric Garner situation. I think this is outrageous. This guy, because of the tax policies of the state of New York, this guy was peddling single cigarettes. Black market, no tax, selfies. Single cigarettes. Loosies. Yeah, selfies are pictures. Loosies. Because the cost of cigarettes in New York City is so exorbitant now. Let’s face it, most people who smoke are the poor. They can’t afford them. Black market sprung up, and the cops have been dispatched by the mayor as tax collectors. “You go out there, and you capture these guys selling black market cigarettes.” This poor guy is selling loosies. He wasn’t shot. He had a heart attack in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.

Now, in Ferguson, you have the Gentle Giant who knocked off a convenience store before pleasantly walking down the street on a beautiful Saturday afternoon contemplating his first year at college. He knocked off the cigar store. Whether he was unable to buy them, we don’t know. But he chose to steal them. In both cases — now, there’s an interesting thing to add here. Look at what this judge in Arizona just did.

The judge in Arizona just said illegal aliens have a right to drivers licenses because they have to get to work. We’re going out of our way to make sure illegal aliens get jobs and have ways and means of getting there. And African-Americans are selling loosies on the streets of New York or robbing convenience stores of cigars. I think the civil rights crowd is kind of angry at the wrong people on all this if you ask me.
