RUSH: Here’s Amanda, Pittsburgh. Amanda, hi, great to have you on the program. You’re up first today on the phones, and welcome.

CALLER: Hi, Rush. How are you today?

RUSH: Very good. Thank you.

CALLER: I’m so honored you could take my phone call.

RUSH: Well, I’m glad you got through.

CALLER: Oh, absolutely. I’m calling ’cause I’m registered Democrat, but I’m absolutely voting for Romney tomorrow. And I don’t see how anybody my age can not care enough about their future to give their vote to Obama.

RUSH: In fact, gosh, you know, I just remembered this. There’s a couple of guys that recorded a song, somebody sent me the YouTube of it. Koko, send that link to Cookie so she can roll it off on tape. Two guys, I don’t know if it’s Oklahoma State or Ohio State, OSU. I’ve never heard of Ohio State referred to as OSU. It’s the Ohio State University.

CALLER: Okay.

RUSH: Anyway, a couple of guys your age, college guys, singing a song, it’s a takeoff of “You picked a fine time to leave me, Lucille.” It’s “You picked a fine time to lead us, Barack.” And of course I, El Rushbo, am mentioned prominently in the tune, that’s why it was sent to me. I think you’re right, a lot of people your age, if you look at some of the people showing up for the Romney rallies, some of the people not showing up for Springsteen and Obama. I got 15 seconds. Why are you voting for Romney?

CALLER: Because I have two young children, I have two toddlers, and I think about their future, and I can’t imagine that they would have a good opportunity in life if Obama gets voted back into office. I don’t think he’s done one positive thing for America.

RUSH: Right.

CALLER: It blows my mind that —

RUSH: You’re right. A Democrat releases it. There are probably a lot of those, too. Thanks for the call, Amanda.
