RUSH: I have a question about the scanners here at the airports, the full body nude scanners. You know that the first leak has occurred. Somebody, or a series of people’s naked scans have been leaked, and they’re out there. So far faces have been covered. We don’t know who, but you knew this was gonna happen. I mean you knew it was gonna happen and it’s gonna be very interesting. I have a question. And I’m serious about this. Somebody’s gonna have to tell me, it just popped into my head here. Can these scans — you can tell who’s had a C-section, for example. Will these scans be able to tell whether or not a woman’s had an abortion? And if so, will these naked body scans be able to tell how many? I’ve seen the scans of males, I mean, we’re gonna get the truth about that. Well, yeah, breast implants, too, because there obviously is going to be surgical procedure indications here. A woman has breast implants, will this be known? How large? Will we be able to tell if a woman has had an abortion or a few?

Will these naked scans, these pictures of people naked that are leaking, can you buy them on the black market? Are they gonna be for sale? All the unintended consequences here. I mean, you’re gonna be able to tell whether somebody needs to be circumcised or not, all kinds of things will be available. But if you can — (interruption) what’s the question? Circumcision? Absolutely, you’re gonna be able — yeah, size of breast. I’m looking now, you can see, it’s plain as day on these naked scans. So this is why, remember, a fist fight has already occurred because one agent during the testing of this who was remarkably not well endowed, his picture leaked out, and everybody started laughing at him within the agent community, and he started beating people up over it. I’ll have to research this, three weeks ago or a month ago, something like that. And Janet Napolitano said, ‘We’ll listen to questions about this,’ but she’s not gonna change her opinion on this. She’s not gonna change the policy on any of this. If this thing reveals how many women have had abortions, do you realize how fast this thing is gonna be shut down?

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: I’m told that the scanning machines, the full body nude scan machines — I can’t confirm this — cannot reveal whether or not a woman’s had an abortion. What about Botox? Will the machine reveal whether you’ve had a Botox treatment, now or in the past?

Tom calling from parts unknown in a major airport, TSA guy. Great to have you on the program, sir. Hi.

CALLER: The pleasure is mine, Rush. Long-time listener, 20 years or so. I just wanted to maybe answer some questions, get the record straight. First of all I think what you’ve taught us to do, Rush, is think a little below the surface, and this guy who has gone Internet viral, I think he’s accomplished what he wanted to do.

RUSH: Using his cell phone?

CALLER: Yeah.

RUSH: The guy in San Diego?

CALLER: I heard it was like 6:30 in the morning, so this TSA officer, you know, he probably gets up at 3:30 in the morning, goes to work trying to be diligent. He did use the wrong verbiage. There is no verbage of groin check. It’s an inner thigh check.

RUSH: You’re supposed to say inner thigh, not groin?

CALLER: Right. And, you know, we are, Rush, you know, 99% of us out there are trying to do it right, and, you know, the —

RUSH: Well, you have your orders, right?

CALLER: Right.

RUSH: You’re given your orders.

CALLER: Yeah, and even with the imaging, when you’re looking at the imaging you do not see the person that is in the booth being imaged, and that image should be deleted immediately.

RUSH: Wait a minute, now. When you’re looking at the image, you do not see —

CALLER: You’re in a remote location clearing that image of any threat.

RUSH: So the scanners on-site are not the ones analyzing the nude image, is that what you’re saying?

CALLER: Right. You never see that person, and that’s one of the things, the Department of Homeland Security, you know, they try to get it right. They don’t want you looking at an image and then see the lady, ‘Hey, I just checked her out.’

RUSH: Oh, I see, so you see a pretty woman coming, you don’t target her because —

CALLER: Oh, no.

RUSH: — it’s somebody off site. So you’re telling me that whoever’s looking at the scan that shows nudity does not see the human being, not in the same room with the scan taking place?

CALLER: Exactly. And then that image is deleted.

RUSH: Well, no, because some of them are leaked. Some of them have gotten out. They’re on the Internet.

CALLER: Okay, like I said, I haven’t seen those. I’m gonna look when I get home, but I don’t know. They may be false images, you know, someone else generating them. Like I was telling Bo, these are not at titillating, stimulating sexual photos. It looks more to me like something out of Terminator, you know?

RUSH: Yeah.

CALLER: I don’t know the ones that are on the Internet.

RUSH: That’s just you. There are all kinds of people out there.

CALLER: I understand that, too.

RUSH: I am constantly stunned when I learn what excites people. That’s one of the things that, frankly, worries me greatly about our society. I don’t talk about it much.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Here’s what I’m talking about. Gizmodo, which is part of the Gawker universe, has investigated this. They have revealed 100 photographs saved by a scanner in Orlando, of public officials and private citizens, 100 scans have been kept, and they have been released, with the identity, the heads covered, but the originals aren’t. So they’re not all being deleted, is the point. The Gawker guys — I mean it stands to reason their name, Gawker — they found a hundred of ’em, probably excited by ’em.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Here’s Kelly in Reno. Kelly, you’re next on the EIB Network. I’m glad you waited. Hi.

CALLER: Rush, longtime listener, first-time caller, and major northern Nevada for a high school football championship dittos —

RUSH: Wow.

CALLER: — from your new friend, conservative Kelly, in Reno.

RUSH: Well, thanks, Kelly. Great to have you on the team here.

CALLER: Thank you. I have answers to your burning questions about the things you can see in these scanner images —

RUSH: For people just tuning in, I advanced some questions early in the program about what security agents can see, or anybody can see looking at these pictures of people being scanned, because it shows a naked view. Can you tell if anybody’s had an abortion? Can you tell if they’ve been circumcised, if they’ve breast implants, can you denote the size of various things? And that’s why she’s calling. You have answers to these questions.

CALLER: I do. And let me explain my nickname is mama Kel because I raise football players up here in northern Nevada, in other words, I’ve got men who wear girdles and they are the love of my life. My sons who play high school football up here —

RUSH: Wait, wait, wait, you’re gonna have to explain the men who wear girdles business in the football context.

CALLER: For non-football people? Oh, come on.

RUSH: Yes.

CALLER: Football players wear girdles that basically hold in pads and other protective material —

RUSH: This is true in high school. Professional players do not wear the girdles. Maybe some in college do wear the girdles with pads. Franco Harris did. But you won’t find too many pro players wearing them.

CALLER: Well, I’ve still got high school men who wear girdles —

RUSH: Yeah.

CALLER: — so hopefully if we get those D1 scholarships we’ll find out more about college, but I promised Snerdley I’d stay on topic.

RUSH: Right.

CALLER: Now, my sons are adopted foster sons, and they came to me as babies with, let’s just say, different male genitalia in the sense that one was circumcised and one was not.

RUSH: A-ha.

CALLER: So growing up, I watched them grow up, and I know that there is a distinctly different shape to the junk in the trunk for one boy than the other.

RUSH: You know this?

CALLER: I know it because I choose to bathe them and as I watched them mature —

RUSH: Right, so now we’ve gotta get —

CALLER: — bodies have changed.

RUSH: We’ve gotta get now from the bathtub to the scanning machine.

CALLER: Scanning machine. If an adult or even a child is wearing whitey tighties, his junk is gonna be held up next to his body and it’s not gonna be as obvious. But if he’s wearing boxers and allowing his junk to kinda hang, there will be a difference in the shape at the end. Am I clear?

RUSH: (laughing)

CALLER: And these scanners can see shapes quite distinctly. They show the shape of the female as well. And the line is right there. So definitely a scanner is gonna show how big a guy’s junk is, if he’s kind of a free and, you know —

RUSH: Right, whether or not he’s been circumcised. What about abortions, as a football expert —

CALLER: Well, the football expert here happens to be in health care and has happened to have many miscarriages before those babies got adopted, and the process of miscarrying is very similar to the process of an abortion. There is no surgical scar. It is a cleaning and scraping process.

RUSH: Right. Okay. So there’s no evidence —

CALLER: No evidence.

RUSH: — that can be seen of an abortion on the scan?

CALLER: And so, for example, I would look exactly the same with my many miscarriages and cleanings as a woman who had gotten rid of ten real fetuses.

RUSH: I see.

CALLER: We look the same.

RUSH: Well, that’s gonna be comforting news to many women who I’m sure were curious about this, which is why, just in the sense of public service I raise the question. So look at the knowledge here that one woman’s love of football, look at what it has spawned and been brought to you here on the Excellence in Broadcasting Network. (interruption) Of course piercings you’re gonna be able to see. Do what? I would assume so. If breast implants show up, I would assume those do. But all of this is sort of a gray area. We’re not gonna know for sure until enough these scanned images are leaked out there that show and represent a cross-section of the American public. (interruption) What’s the question? Hm-hm. What if they find a metal object? If they find a metal object, did you say down there like a piercing, what are they gonna do? Well, I don’t know, I’m not a trained agent. I don’t know what I would do if I found a metal piercing on a scanner. I don’t know what I would do.
