RUSH: This is Joe Biden yesterday at a campaign event in Columbia, Missouri.

BIDEN: Uh, uh, Chuck Graham, state senator, is here. Stand up, Chuck, let ’em see you. Oh, God love you. What am I talking about? I tell you what, you’re making everybody else stand up, though, pal. I tell you what, stand up for Chuck.

RUSH: And then he walks over to Chuck, you can’t see Chuck because everybody is standing up for Chuck, and he walks over, and he says, ‘Can you tell I’m new at this?’ Here, listen to this again. This is Joe Biden about whom I don’t think anybody’s talking except us.

BIDEN: Uh, uh, Chuck Graham, state senator, is here. Stand up, Chuck. Let ’em see you. Oh, God love you. What am I talking about? I tell you what, you’re making everybody else stand up, though, pal. I tell you what, stand up for Chuck.

RUSH: So he’s briefed that State Senator Chuck Graham is there, but nobody tells him that Chuck Graham is in a wheelchair. You can’t make this stuff up. He needs a cocktail and a cigarette and a rim shot drummer. Let’s go to John Edwards, folks, at the convention, at a debate, October 11th, 2004.

EDWARDS: When John Kerry is president, people like Christopher Reeve are going to walk — get up out of that wheelchair and walk again.

RUSH: Get up, Chuck! Stand up, Chuck! Let ’em see you.
