RUSH: Last week in Oklahoma, Misty Velvet Dawn Spann, 26, pled guilty … to … get this charge. She married her 44-year-old biological mother.

The mother, Patricia Ann Spann, did not raise Misty Velvet Dawn. She lost custody of her daughter and two sons when they were kids. But the mother-daughter-wives supposedly “hit it off” when they were reunited. They “married” last year.

They may have had an ulterior reason though. Detective Justin Smith said that Misty and Patricia told him they tied the knot to “defraud the state in order to receive more benefits under healthcare. That sort of thing.”

There’s more. The mother-wife, Patricia, had married one of her sons in 2008. That marriage was annulled a couple years later. So mommy apparently decided to walk on the even wilder side by trying same-sex, mother-daughter marriage. So she became a mother-wife to Misty Velvet Dawn.

But now Patricia has nobody. The marriage to her daughter-wife has also been annulled due to “illegality and fraud.” The daughter-wife is walking away with more than a broken heart. She was sentenced to ten years probation for incest, from which one could infer that the marriage was consummated.

Mommy-wife has yet to go to trial.

In the immortal words of Tina Turner, “What’s love got to do with it?” That’s for the rest of us to try to figure out. In the meantime, how do they attach Roy Moore to this one?
