Rush 24/7 Morning Update: It’s Panic Time

RUSH: In New York, Democrat Governor Andrew Cuomo and city officials are worried that wealthy New Yorkers will decide to leave if the deductions are eliminated. Trump budget director Mick Mulvaney had the perfect comeback. He said, “Is it the federal government’s fault that New York taxes are so high that they’re driving people out of the state?”

New Assault Allegations: Franken (While Senator), Bill Clinton, Glenn Thrush

RUSH: Well! Another woman has come forward with sexual misconduct allegations against Al Franken. Franken says he’s not gonna resign. He’s sitting out there contemplating and reflecting, which means he’s trying to remember any others that could come forward and try to get hold of him. If anybody’s gonna hire Hillary Clinton, it would be Al Franken.

FBI Has Not Verified the Trump Dossier

RUSH: They haven't verified anything. They haven't verified any collusion between Trump and Russia. They haven't verified anything, and yet this investigation is ongoing, and we all know why. But I'm telling you, the news that's popping up here is causing an implosion on the left. The details are all there. You're just not getting that particular characterization because it's the left writing about themselves.

One Year Later, Hillary STILL Won’t Accept the Election Results

RUSH: Maybe they could create a new PAC or nonprofit called Move On. Oh, wait, there already is one. I’m sorry. You know what the original Move On was? The original MoveOn.org, “Stop all this about Clinton and Lewinsky! It’s time to move on. It’s time to move on from Clinton and the women. It’s time to move on from Clinton and Lewinsky. It’s time to move.” And that’s the origins of MoveOn.org.

If Global Warming Were Science, It Wouldn’t Need a PR Campaign

RUSH: You don't have to sell science. Science doesn't need a marketing plan. Science doesn't need a political action committee. Science doesn't need donors. Science doesn't need to run ads. Science is, by definition, science. It's tested to the point of infallibility, and only then are conclusions published. And even then it's ongoing.

The Hateful Left Is Never Going to Have a Conscience and Apologize for Reprobate Behavior

RUSH: F. Scott Fitzgerald said the rich really are different. They're not like you and me. Maybe. But I'll tell you who isn't like you and me, and that's these leftist liberals and communists. They are not like you and me. And it is a mistake to assume you can rationally persuade them, talk to them, or whatever, like you would talk to anybody else that you feel comfortable talking to. They hate you. They're predisposed to hate you, and there's nothing that can change that, especially if they don't know who they are.

Simple Manners and the UCLA Basketball Players

RUSH: This is just another example of how Trump happens to capture — what this is about is gratitude. It isn't about race. It isn't about anything other than simple manners and how we're raising people without them, it seems, more and more.

Rush 24/7 Stack of Stuff

RUSH: No longer is this just gonna be a long list of stories that I might mention on the program. Now, you will get specifically the stories that I talk about on the program and a select list of a few others that I intended to get to but ran out of time. It's going to be more of a real-time base feature rather than just a generic list of places that I go to prep the show.
