RUSH: Okay. So we just had a hearing. This is the Senate Judiciary Committee and it’s a hearing on immigration, DACA, so forth and so on. The Homeland Security secretary testifies, and what did the Democrats do? They asked about the language the president used. Is this how they want to use our time? Is this what they really think is important? Grilling the Homeland Security Chief on whether or not the president uttered that word, did anybody else utter any profanity?
This hearing has been going on since 12 noon, maybe a little bit before that. Every Democrat, Dicky Durbin, Dianne Feinstein, Patrick “Leaky” Leahy, all they wanted to focus on was what Trump said and did she hear it. It’s embarrassing! It is pathetic! But it is quite telling. And they more than likely have made it up and are embellishing it.
And Chuck Schumer was on CBS last night saying, “This, well, this just proves that Trump’s gotta go ahead and give us our deal to prove that he’s not a racist.” Grab sound bite number 7. Democrat end game right here. This has always worked against previous Republican presidents and members of Congress. He’s on the Stephen Colbert show, who said, “Do you think that Donald Trump is a racist, Senator Schumer?”
SCHUMER: His comments over and over and over again can be described as nothing but racist and obnoxious. I have a challenge for Donald Trump, okay? Actions speak louder than words. If you want to begin, just begin that long road back to proving you’re not a racist, you’re not bigoted? Support the bipartisan compromise that three Republicans and three Democrats have put on the floor, everyone gave and get the DREAMers safety here in America. That’s what he should do. If this bill doesn’t become law, there will only be one thing standing in the way, and that’s Donald Trump and his intransigence.
RUSH: Right. And you hear that audience, which has been propagandized for however many years, wherever they go to school, watch entertainment media. But how transparent. How simpleton really transparent. You want to begin that long road back to proving you’re not a racist. Why does he have to prove he’s not a racist? Because you, the Democrats, are accusing him of it?
Well, who the hell are you? Who appointed you the arbiters? Who appointed Senator Schumer and Fauxcahontas and the rest of these people as the arbiters of propriety? So just because you, Senator Schumer, make this basic incompetent claim that Trump is a racist, he now has to begin the long road back to proving he’s not a racist, that he’s not bigoted. And to do that, he’s gotta support the bipartisan compromise that’s on the floor of the Senate and get the DREAMers safety here in America. How transparent, pathetic, and just simpletonian this is.
By the way, Senator Schumer, you know, there are a lot of American kids that have dreams. And I just can’t find where you give one whittle about it. I can’t find where you care about the dreams of American kids, you’re so focused on your need for future underclass voters. “Donald Trump’s a racist. It’s a long way back to prove he isn’t. You can start by letting us have what we want.”
