RUSH: If the current services baseline budget projects an increase of 23% each year, and it's only gonna go up 16%, they wail and moan about a 7% Draconian, drastic cut. When's the last time the budget went down in anything? It doesn't happen!

RUSH: Don't pooh-pooh it. The people who tell you that water does not solve dehydration are liberals, and they believe that and say that and proselytize that for an ideological reason.  It is ideological that they say water does not solve dehydration.

RUSH: The people of Spain elected this far-left, fringe government. In less than seven years, with a "green jobs economy," the new socialist regime created 21% unemployment. They did exactly what Barack Obama's trying to do here, only Obama's on a faster pace.

RUSH: President Obama mocked candidates going to NASCAR races in his book, The Audacity of Hope. He called it "political stagecraft," said he wouldn't do it -- and there's his wife!

RUSH: This is John McCain on July 27, 2011: "The idea seems to be that if the House GOP refuses to raise the debt ceiling, a default crisis or gradual government shutdown will ensue, and the public will turn en masse against Barack Obama."

RUSH: Messrs. Caddell and Schoen, if you had flattered Obama -- if you had told him that running this country is so beneath his stature, skill set, and intellect; if you'd said the world is crying for a leader now, not just America -- then maybe you guys could have gotten him to quit.

RUSH: Would somebody explain -- if we're in trouble and if it's so grave, if it's so crucial, and, "We've got to do this budget thing and we've got to get it done! We're at the crossroads! We're at the point of no return! (all of the usual threats)" -- why only 12 people are dealing with it on the super committee?

RUSH: I meant to ask our last caller the guy's name who Obama got a job at the "Target factory," or maybe it was the "Walmart factory."  I forget which.  He said both. I'd like to find out exactly what Obama did.  Did he go do the interview for him?

GINGRICH: All the Occupy movement starts with is the premise that we all owe them everything. ... Now, that is a pretty good symptom of how much the left has collapsed as a moral system in this country and why you need to reassert something as simple as saying to them, "Go get a job right after you take a bath."
