In their Sunday edition, the business section, the New York Times ran a very lengthy article: “How US Lost Out on iPhone Work.” Apple employs 43,000 people domestically, 20,000 overseas -- with even more jobs for Apple contractors.
RUSH: Newt has thrown this thing into a tizzy. They don't know what to do. They wanted this wrapped up. They don't understand why it happened. They're blaming all the wrong people. They're blaming their own voters. They're blaming the media.
RUSH: Mitt Romney is 9-16 in his electoral career... That's Mr. Electability?
RUSH: Let me just tell you something -- again, going against the conventional wisdom.
Everybody is out there thinking the reason Newt triumphed is because of his media smackdown. That's not it.
RUSH: What they want is somebody they think will not lose the House and might help 'em win the Senate. November 10th, I told you this, and I have been saying it every day since.

RUSH: I'm not a real guy. I just calculated what works in a marketing sense, according to David Brooks, and, in the process, I'm ruining America.
CALLER: I am now dropping my association with Obama, who I voted for a few years ago.

RUSH: Here's what I would do: I would stop talking about myself. I'd stop saying, "I did this," and, "I did that," and "This is what I did, and those guys aren't this, and those guys aren't that." I'd just start articulating conservatism.
RUSH: The infrastructure, the labor force doesn't exist at the levels necessary to support Apple's operations or the demand. It just can't happen, not the way things are currently structured in America.
