Amtrak has lost almost a billion dollars on its food and beverage operations alone. Yes, on trains, with a captive consumer audience, Amtrak can’t even sell food at a profit.

RUSH: If you see a commercial with a monkey doing gymnastics and you think of an African-American, doesn't that make you racist? The liberals are the ones pointing out that some racism took place, but yet you have to be racist to make the connection.

RUSH: This was a technological feat that is difficult to describe. 

RUSH: I thought it would be 15, 20 years. But over the weekend, George Will (no liberal he) submitted a column that was headlined in the New York Post, "Football's Growing Killer Problem." Basically George Will in his column says that football is killing its players and cannot be fixed.

RUSH: The media's no different than they've always been. In terms of how they think, they've always been liberal. But now they're active participants for the Democrat Party agenda. And I do think I brought that about, or contributed to it. 

RUSH: The media knows there's nothing to it and yet they're reporting it as though there might be, cause they want the thing to work.  They want the tactic to work. 

RUSH: One might say, when speaking of NASA, that the space flight realm of NASA, the vast majority of it is actually done by private aerospace companies bidding for the jobs. 

RUSH: The individual tragedies behind that 1.2 million are never told, never humanized.

RUSH: Football is just the latest iteration of what the left is trying to do. In New York, it's being done with trans fats and 16-ounce sodas. Before that, it was done with smoking and cigarettes.

RUSH: That's the problem with crony capitalists. Government gives them the ladder and they climb up the ladder. After they get to the top, they take the ladder away. Nobody else can get on it and climb.
