RUSH: So Trump decided to ban transgenders from the military to get me off his back. Yeah, I think a lot of people miss this show. This is crazy! I'm sure Trump and his team have been thinking about this for years. Ahem. But, seriously, to get me off his back about Sessions? (laughing) But this is how they think.
RUSH: I got a lot of complaints about Trump at the rally last night. They loved it but…
RUSH: It turns out this guy had fingerprints all over a bunch of other Democrats in the House and their computers, their network operations. This is where the serious breach of security occurred. This is where the Russians got in. This guy may have facilitated it.
RUSH: This is not a sop from Trump to his base. His base is not made up of exclusive conservatives or right-wingers or conservative social issues people. His base is a wide swath of people in this country and many of them are not doctrinaire conservatives. Many of them are not even ideological. They're simply unhappy with what's been going on in Washington for years.
RUSH: Google the guy if you're curious what he looks like. You probably are now that she's out there ripping into the guy's appearance.
RUSH: There's something else that's going on here. I don't claim to know what it is. I'm just telling you that, to me, none of it makes sense… There may be reasons for it, but we don't know what they are. There's always more behind the scenes to every event than we will ever know. So trying to make substantive analysis and judgments of this with limited information and bias or prejudice about who Trump is, I think, can lead people astray, which it is.
RUSH: McCain's out there, he comes back to town, he issues his vote on the health care bill and then launches on all the bombastic people in radio, television, and the internet and tells everybody in the Senate, to hell with 'em, meaning us, don't listen to 'em, don't be guided by what they say. The real bombast is not here. The real bombast is to be found among elected officials who run around on the campaign trail and promise things for seven consecutive years and then peter out when the moment of truth comes. That remains the problem.
RUSH: No longer is this just gonna be a long list of stories that I might mention on the program. Now, you will get specifically the stories that I talk about on the program and a select list of a few others that I intended to get to but ran out of time. It's going to be more of a real-time base feature rather than just a generic list of places that I go to prep the show.
RUSH: Minimum wage hikes kill jobs. Attacking businesses with new “feel-good” regulations kills jobs. Creating more government programs grows government, not the economy. There’s nothing the Democrats are offering now that they haven’t offered before.
RUSH: Scaramucci was on Fox. TheHill.com has the story, but he was on Fox News today. Scaramucci said Obama holdovers are responsible for the leaks. I’m telling you, folks, this is what I think this is.
