RUSH: Americans know all too well what Big Government bureaucrats have done to their lives, their businesses, and their country. That’s one reason Trump was elected: to drain the swamp.
RUSH: There is a terrific column today by Holman Jenkins in the Wall Street Journal… And it's Jenkins' opinion that all of this, the Manafort stuff, all of it, Mueller, a continuing cover-up of what was really the irregular, slash, potentially criminal behavior. And that's Hillary, her illegal emails and servers and all of that money being collected on that server as donations to her.
RUSH: Trump believes that if every nation believes in itself rather than believes in being subordinate and subservient to a global organization, the whole world is gonna be better, with everybody trying to be the best they can be. He doesn't mean put America first over everybody else.
RUSH: I think a lot of these groups are beginning to realize that they have been taken for granted.
RUSH: Obama said that we live in times that everybody seems to be upset by, everybody's on edge, everybody's nervous. He said he used to tell his staff in the White House all the time, and his family, that that was a silly outlook. That there was every reason in the world to be optimistic. No reaction from the crowd at all. Normally optimism is an applause line. No reaction at all.
RUSH: It was all lighthearted and good fun, but she always reminded you that she was the aunt and you were the nephew, in a funny and humorous way. But the support that I've had from all of my family through all of this has never wavered, and she was right there at the top of it leading the effort. I'm gonna miss her tremendously because she was one of a kind.
RUSH: Gregg Jarrett thinks that Sessions should resign for incompetence.
RUSH: This is not supposed to happen. Trump's approval numbers are supposed to stay down and continue downward once the Drive-Bys think that they are making this happen. But it's not. The approval rating is ticking upward.
RUSH: It's better than we even thought that the woman lost. I mean, this is dangerous, dangerous psychological territory, and we are bearing witness to it here.
RUSH: They can't permit it. If somebody like Trump is permitted in the establishment and is an acknowledged member of it, then there goes the establishment. Everything they have used to keep people out will have blown to smithereens.
RUSH: You want to hear something really odd and the extremes to which liberalism now is going when there are no guardrails and when there are no controls, when there are no boundaries, listen to this.
RUSH: Even some leftists think that this has gone too far.
RUSH: No longer is this just gonna be a long list of stories that I might mention on the program. Now, you will get specifically the stories that I talk about on the program and a select list of a few others that I intended to get to but ran out of time. It's going to be more of a real-time base feature rather than just a generic list of places that I go to prep the show.
