CALLER: A quick observation and a very short prediction. You astutely pointed out in November that Barack Obama was very popular, had high personal approval ratings, yet his policies were unpopular. And my observation is, I think Trump, although his personal approval ratings are slightly improving, it doesn't really matter. People like his policies.
Where Were All the Stories on Obama’s Aides?
RUSH: How much did we know about Barack Obama and all the influence? They tried to hide the influence of Bill Ayers. They tried to hide the influence of Bernardine Dohrn. They tried to hide the influence of Rashid Khalidi. The LA Times still will not release a tape of Khalidi endorsing Obama back in 2008 at a luncheon, and this was one of the biggest anti-Israeli screeds that somebody supposedly made.

RUSH: My brother has become devotedly Christian and religious, and he's fascinated by it in the scholarship sense. He has, like my father, read the Bible numerous times and is constantly seeking to understand it so as to be able to explain it to others and to answer other people's questions. And he's desperately desirous that as many people as possible try to learn the story of Christ and the gospels, as would anybody be who is passionate about anything.

RUSH: I have never seen a presidential aide or adviser so focused on, so often reported on, as Steve Bannon. I've never seen it. I can't think of any presidential adviser who, by the way, when the subject of the reporting is, "Will this guy last? Can we get rid of this guy? Is this guy losing the power struggle?"

RUSH: Remember, I opened the program asking a number of you Trump supporters if you're starting to feel betrayed over Trump flip-flopping, apparently, on the Export-Import Bank and what you think he said about not intervening militarily in other countries like Syria and the ChiComs and currency manipulation. The New York Times obviously was listening, because they based a story around the whole premise.
