RUSH: Tax cuts help everybody, especially the middle class. Don't believe anybody who says otherwise, because the facts do not lie.
RUSH: Okay, so let me translate this. What he's saying is, "Under normal circumstances we wouldn't have even had this, a newly incoming president. The budget would have been done last September, October, and it would have been done. Nothing he could have done about it anyway, no matter what. This was an incomplete budget, and so they had to finish it." And Spicer is saying, "A lot of Trump's wishes are in this budget." But what he really said was, "You wait for Trump to really get into gear in 2018," meaning the 2018 budget, which starts October 1st of this year.
RUSH: What could be more appropriate than having a fake news anchorman from a fake news show from a comedy network headline the White House Correspondents' Dinner? How prophetic.
RUSH: There's something that happens to people in that town that instills a fear unknown to you and me, and the fear is centered on this idea that if we stop or interrupt or even pause the actions involving government spending money then we are headed for Armageddon. It's almost like we cannot interrupt the spending process at all, because if we do, there will be hell to pay. Voters will get mad that their services aren't there. The media will get into gear and talk about how whoever is responsible for the shutdown doesn't care about the little guy.
RUSH: He's going to have to have his own staff, legislative staff in the White House that writes this legislation and muscles its way through. And it's gonna be tough.
Conrad Black Educates in the U.K.: Rush Limbaugh Has 5 Times the Daily Audience of The New York Times
RUSH: This is an audience of Brits in the U.K. and they have no idea. Can you imagine the stunned reaction? And that's a factual statement, by the way, five times as many listeners as they have readers, particularly if you just look at their New York City circulation. I wanted to take a brief moment to play that sound bite because I'm appreciative of the mention, but more importantly it happens to be true.
RUSH: What do you think would happen if Trump announced something like that?
RUSH: What is the Democrat Party primary narrative since the election loss? It's that they lost the election because the Russians hacked the election, hacked the Democrats. And, by the way, the Democrats — and I've always told you this. They know this is BS. They know it isn't true.
RUSH: This is the kind of thing that I just love. Cook up a barbecue right next to the where these people are doing their phony hunger strike.
RUSH: Well, well, well, we have the president’s first hundred days now officially in the can and now under review, and as part of that review former President Barack Hussein Obama.
RUSH: No longer is this just gonna be a long list of stories that I might mention on the program. Now, you will get specifically the stories that I talk about on the program and a select list of a few others that I intended to get to but ran out of time. It's going to be more of a real-time base feature rather than just a generic list of places that I go to prep the show.
