RUSH: The New York Times published an article the other day that must have made every liberal reader orgasmic. Silicon Valley billionaires are “remaking” American schools.
RUSH: Wow. Trump's lawyer has accused Comey of lying on two big things. He said that Trump never told Comey to let the Flynn thing go, and he said that Trump never pressured Comey on anything — and one more…
RUSH: I don't have kids, and I care everything about what happens in my country. It has not made me lackadaisical. But somebody, I guess, thinks that it could be relevant, that not having kids and running a country could make you more inclined to not be vigilant in leaving a legacy for your country as you found it.
RUSH: In the past two years, nothing the media, the Democrats, the Washington establishment, and the Never Trumpers have thrown at Trump has worked. They have thrown everything they've got at Trump, and he is still there.
RUSH: There's only one other person talking this way out there, my friends, and it's me.
RUSH: Show me the computer system that has been hacked. Show me the Russian fingerprints and show me what that computer does and show me what the Russians made it do and show me how that is different from what would have happened if the Russians hadn't been into that computer. Nobody has shown me that.
RUSH: It's asinine! Now you've got these guys on CNN basically saying that the president exercising constitutional authority is committing crimes. And Dershowitz, he ends up every appearance on CNN with less hair. I have noticed this. I think it's taking a toll.
RUSH: Obama hires like-minded people who know what to do without having to be told. I think Comey is shaping up to be one of these people.
RUSH: I listen to these Democrat senators as their prelude to questioning Comey, and it's man love, folks. I mean, it is man love. They want to get out of their chairs, they want to go over there and they want to hug the guy. And I'm thinking, "It was just five months ago they hated this guy and wanted him dead!
RUSH: I'm just gonna keep repeating this. The bottom line: James Comey said that Donald Trump did not ask him to stop the Russian investigation. James Comey said that Trump told the truth, that three times Comey told him that Trump was not part of the investigation. No obstruction of justice and no attempt by Trump to shape this investigation one way or the other. There is no reason why we are even here. No legal reason.
RUSH: No longer is this just gonna be a long list of stories that I might mention on the program. Now, you will get specifically the stories that I talk about on the program and a select list of a few others that I intended to get to but ran out of time. It's going to be more of a real-time base feature rather than just a generic list of places that I go to prep the show.
