RUSH: Well, the Democrat Party has come up with a new slogan to help connect with voters.
Jeff Stein of Vox, reports that it took months of polling and internal deliberations to come up with this. Okay. Are you ready? The new Democrat slogan is: “A Better Deal: Better Skills, Better Jobs, Better Wages.”
Let’s me say it one more time to make sure you fully grasp this important new messaging from the Democrats. The burning slogan that will save their party from ruins and restore them as heroes to working and middle-class America. Here we go: “A Better Deal: Better Skills, Better Jobs, Better Wages.”
After this new Democrat Party slogan was revealed social media went wild mocking it. The most popular memes noted the similarity to a slogan almost everybody knows: “Better ingredients, Better Pizza — Papa John’s.” Yup, the Democrat slogan does sound like a rip-off.
But aside from that, Democrats deserve to be scorned for something else. All through the Obama years Democrats and their buddies in the Drive-By Media tried to convince us that we were getting “a better deal.” They claimed unemployment was at record lows, and the economy was humming.
It was all lies.
Now Obama’s gone. And Democrats suddenly want to sell the need for better jobs, skills and wages. They wouldn’t know any of that if it slapped them in the face.
