RUSH: Despite all their talk about inclusion, diversity and tolerance, the Democrats will never tolerate anybody who is opposed to their holy sacrament, which is abortion. Congressman Luján is about to learn that lesson the hard way.
RUSH: We're an adaptive people, and if we could get a handle on our education system — which would change a basically pessimistic attitude to one of optimism — we would be that much better off.
RUSH: Folks, this to me is troubling. We have heard, I mean, you and me, the American people, people paying attention, have heard that there are factions inside the White House and in the deep state that are trying to undermine Trump. You are very well aware of this. So am I.
RUSH: Trump's a big TV guy. What we need to do is get the Rush Limbaugh app on his phone so that he can watch the program on the Dittocam. At night he can listen to the podcast or watch the Dittocam version. He's a TV creature.
RUSH: Almost every senator up for reelection in 2018 came out in support of Trump's China trade opinion and sanctions. We haven't seen this many Republicans come out in a press conference and sound this supportive of Trump ever, but Democrats did. You'd have to watch this on C-SPAN. The Drive-Bys didn't cover it.
RUSH: I guarantee you this is designed to goad Trump into some kind of response and reaction.
RUSH: The Statue of Liberty has nothing to do with immigration, folks…The Emma Lazarus poem did not appear on the pedestal for years and years and years after the Statue of Liberty was deployed in New York Harbor. The Statue of Liberty does not point to the United States. The Statue of Liberty points outward, away from the United States. It is a beacon of liberty and freedom for the rest of the world. It has nothing to do with immigration.
RUSH: With the office of the president of the United States, you cannot have an open door with anybody in the world being able to walk in there and drop down a pet issue that they have on his desk to try to get him to talk about it or think about it or react to it.
Stephen Miller’s Explanation of Common Sense Immigration Bill Sails Right Over the Heads of the Ignorant Drive-By Media
RUSH: This entire little episode illustrates so much of what is wrong throughout our civics, political, public policy debates. It illustrates just how paralyzed we are by the virtue of ignorance, stupidity, maleducation, and political bias all combined into one. We are literally paralyzed from progress. We are paralyzed from advancing as a society, advancing as a culture because so many of the dominantly influential people in our country are actual idiots who don't even have the ability to understand common sense when they hear it.
RUSH: No longer is this just gonna be a long list of stories that I might mention on the program. Now, you will get specifically the stories that I talk about on the program and a select list of a few others that I intended to get to but ran out of time. It's going to be more of a real-time base feature rather than just a generic list of places that I go to prep the show.
