Clearly, the decision has been made that everyone who can suffer from the government shutdown -- will suffer. That it is "good politics," a way to "win" the shutdown argument. But this petty ruthlessness only demonstrates how little the so-called "little guys" really mean to the Obama Regime.
RUSH: As is the usual case, over the weekend your host, once again, prominent in the mainstream media. I was, of course, totally unaware.
RUSH: Moyers has been given I don't know how many millions, multiple millions over the years by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting to put out his propaganda.
RUSH: Almost at a five-year mark here on the Obama Regime and the gap between rich and poor is indeed wider than ever because the poor are getting poorer. Everybody wants to talk about the rich getting richer. The poor are getting poorer, and the middle class is getting poorer.
RUSH: This is not being driven by fans. It's not being driven by people in football. It's totally driven by leftist activists in the media. It's not even being driven by Native Americans, but I have a couple other names that I would like to suggest...
RUSH: The San Jose Mercury News has found two people, one of them 60, the other 52. For one of them, the premium's going up $1,800 a year, another one $10,000 a year. They voted for Obamacare. They supported Obamacare. They thought their premiums were going to come down. They find out otherwise.
RUSH: You know what really bugs them about Ted Cruz? He is one of them. He went to Harvard. He went to Yale. He did win the debate contest. His grades are better than theirs. He has their pedigree.
RUSH: People inside the Beltway who make the news of the Beltway, who consume it, who basically live the Washington narrative every day are just convinced the Republicans are just embarrassing themselves and losing humiliatingly bad -- when I don't think that that's really what's happening out there.
RUSH: If they went on a date, you know what that means...
RUSH: He's saying I'll negotiate as long as they come to the table ready to agree with me.
