RUSH: Ladies and gentlemen, there's a big piece in the New York Times Magazine coming this weekend. It is entitled: "Does Anyone Have a Grip on the GOP?" The subhead: "The Republican Elite Tries to Take Its Party Back." This article prints like 24 pages. It is a major, major New York Times Magazine piece. It confirms everything that I have thought, everything I have speculated, everything I have said about the battle between the Republican elite and the Tea Party.

RUSH: Have you heard about the memo from Chuck-U Schumer that's been floating around?

RUSH: My question to you, after all of this, somebody tell me: What has changed from November of 2010 regarding the Tea Party?

We can only speculate maybe a candidate here or there didn't want to bring it up because that candidate's already got problems somewhere else that could be commented on.

RUSH: Green jobs are just government jobs. There are no green jobs in the private sector 'cause there's no business there. There's not a profitable business there.

RUSH: I want to replay for you what he said. It was June 3rd in Manchester, New Hampshire, at the University of New Hampshire.

RUSH: It's very important to vet candidates' pastors. They didn't care a whit about Jeremiah Wright, but now we gotta go after this Jeffress guy because of what he said about Mormon -- and, in fact, the media agrees! You just wait. If Romney gets the nomination, wait 'til you see what the media does with Mormonism.

CLINE: You're a bum, Jew! ... Why you fighting with us?

UNIDENTIFIED MAN: Why?

CLINE: You got the money, that's why you're fighting, Jewish man!

PELOSI:  When the Republicans vote for this bill today, they will be voting to say that women can die on the floor and health care providers do not have to intervene if this bill is passed.  It's just appalling.

RUSH:  That's right.  Republicans want women to die.  Disgusting.  That's all they've got, folks.  The only kind of thing they've got, we're racists, we're sexists, we're pigs, we want women to die.  That's all they've got to run on.

RUSH:  Look, it's not over for Rick Perry by a long shot.  There's much more than debates that people get judged on.  Speeches on the stump that are seen on television, campaign ads and so forth.
