RUSH: It has been fascinating all morning and during the day yesterday to watch the media. My gosh, they are so excited. They are ten times as excited as anybody else is about this.
RUSH: I went through the roster here as I got it this morning, looking for what had happened when I was gone. I guess I shouldn't be surprised anymore. But I'm shocked, once again the number of sound bites that are about me over the last ten days or so.
RUSH: The Democrats are doing their own version of Operation Chaos with Ron Paul.
RUSH: He's out doing the media rounds today, and he's sounding good -- and he had a great exchange with Mike Allen of Politico.
RUSH: How are we gonna choose this one conservative? Is it going to be the winner of the Hawkeye Cauci? Is it gonna be the winner of New Hampshire? Who is this conservative who we're all going to coalesce behind? Who's it going to be?
RUSH: Obama's approval numbers are tanking. It doesn't look good. Of course, nobody's talking to you about this because the focus obviously is the Republican primary.

As 2011 was winding down, the Supreme Court in California gave the Governor – Jerry “Moonbeam” Brown – a billion-dollar victory. The court ruled that California’s 60-year-old Economic Development Program can be wiped out by the state legislature and that Governor Brown can spend the money on other things.
RUSH: This is just the beginning today, folks. This isn't over.
RUSH: Iowans know that they are Americans -- and they know that the country is in heap big trouble economically.
RUSH: The tea, of course, appeals beyond the boundaries of the radio program.
RUSH: You know, we're coming up on the 20th anniversary of my first book, "The Way Things Ought to Be". I got an e-mail over the weekend from somebody who is just now reading it for the first time, and they were struck by how relevant it is.
RUSH: This is not the Patriot Act. This is way beyond. This is total authoritarianism.
RUSH: This is not the defense that you want coming to town if you're the Broncos at this stage of Tebow's development. Oh, it's not gonna be pretty.
RUSH: Even when I'm not here, this program is listened to by members of the media so that they can figure out what you think.
