RUSH: Over the Easter recess, Republican lawmakers got an earful. It turns out that voters back home are mad at them for passing the massive omnibus spending bill, which gave Democrats everything they wanted.
RUSH: What's going on here is an attempt by the media and other interested parties to goad Trump into firing Robert Mueller, because they don't have anything.
RUSH: Their visceral hatred of Trump is personal. And so they're living vicariously through these investigations.
RUSH: Hang on, folks. I was in the middle of a riff here…
RUSH: Firing these people is not gonna accomplish anything. But pardoning the people who have already copped a plea or are on trial soon or who are under investigation, you pardon people, that's how you shut this down.
RUSH: Since when does the deep state care about the American people?
RUSH: It was sad to see the relative ignorance of members of the House and Senate on tech matters. It was embarrassing in a couple occasions.
RUSH: So while Frank is on the air here suggesting that Trump do this, Trump is sending out a message to all of his supporters saying exactly that.
RUSH: I think we have another example here of a poll being used to shape opinion, not report it. I think a poll is being used to motivate people, to influence people into action by way of voting.
RUSH: This is in a journal of great repute. This is in the journal Science.
RUSH: I think he's also frustrated as hell with the Senate.
RUSH: I tried to go to the golf course yesterday. In fact, I did go to the golf course yesterday.
RUSH: I think that this is a U.S. issue because of ISIS and Iran.
