At Over 26 Million Listeners, EIB Thanks You

RUSH: Normally on most outlets, after the election, particularly such a fevered election as the one we had, there's a natural drop-off as the intensity of the moment fades away. That has not happened here. It is as intense as ever and is continuing to expand, and we thank you very much.

Washington Post Fears Deficit Impact of Trump Tax Cuts (Which Won’t Grow the Deficit, Anyway)

RUSH: I've gone through this drill for so many years now I get blue in the face. But this opening paragraph in this story: "Trump pursuing a drastic cut in the corporate tax rate, a move likely to grow the national debt." The corporate tax rate in this country is so high that there is I don't know how many trillions of dollars not even in this country because the companies that have earned it keep it offshore to avoid paying that tax rate.

Climate Change Hoax Update

RUSH: Algore and his group is asking the governments of the world to give him $15 trillion, him and his group. That's what they're asking for. They're making no bones about it.

Looks Like Trump Is Caving on Funding the Wall

RUSH: If Trump does cave — and I use the word “cave” guardedly — Democrats seem to have successfully used this stupid, silly threat of a government shutdown to get their way. What Trump is saying is, “If we need to get this done, then I’ll delay the spending on the wall until September.”

Rush 24/7 Stack of Stuff

RUSH: No longer is this just gonna be a long list of stories that I might mention on the program. Now, you will get specifically the stories that I talk about on the program and a select list of a few others that I intended to get to but ran out of time. It's going to be more of a real-time base feature rather than just a generic list of places that I go to prep the show.

Depressed Democrats Twist Polls Showing Trump Would Win Popular Vote in Rematch with Hillary

RUSH: We got polling data from the Washington Post that everybody's — not everybody, a lot of people are — missing the lead in this poll. The Washington Post wants you to think that Trump's approval numbers are tanking and everything's going south, and the big news is that, if the election were held again, Trump would win again. And Hillary would lose again. And a greater number of people are upset and think the Democrat Party's out of touch than think the Republican Party's out of touch.

Obama Official Admits Bureaucrats Manipulate Climate Stats

RUSH: It's a Daily Caller story. Ready for this? "Former Obama Official: Bureaucrats Manipulate Climate Stats to Influence Policy." No kidding! Exactly. But this looks like somebody from the Obama regime is owning up to it.

See, I Told You So: Millennials Don’t Even Want to Pay for Netflix!

RUSH: Now, the reason it's a news story, this is supposed to scare Netflix. It's supposed to scare the entire telecommunications, entertainment industry, 'cause these are cord cutters. And if they don't want to pay for it, it's going to be a problem. What if they cancel? What if they just pirate? What if they steal it? What are Netflix and others gonna do? And it is something that they do have to be concerned about.

Humorless Leftists Upset Over Trump Joke, Sessions Quip About Hawaii Judge

RUSH: (Trump impression) "Well, wait, you're converting urine to water and you're drinking it? Ha. Better you than me." (laughing) "It's outrageous. How dare he speak that way to an astronaut? How dare he put her down, how dare he disrespect her." And they just do not have a sense of humor. Same thing with Jeff Sessions talking about some island judge standing in the way of Trump's executive order. They blew their gasket. Racism, bigotry, homophobia, whatever it is they want to level the charge at.

Media Lies About Venezuela’s Failed Socialist State

RUSH: The average Venezuelan has lost 20 pounds this year because of starvation. They simply can't get food. MSNBC said that they are losing weight because an oil company there donated half a million dollars to Trump and people are outraged. I know you're thinking, "What? What? What, Rush? What?" Yep.

Kate O’Beirne: Godmother of the Modern Conservative Movement

RUSH: I met Kate O’Beirne. And she was immediately accepting and friendly, outgoing, extroverted, ribald, whatever struck her is the way she behaved. She was brilliant. She was cooperative, and she was very shepherding in my process. This was 1988, Bush and Dukakis, third term of Reagan; there is no national conservative media.

French Election Mirrors U.S. 2016 Vote

RUSH: You’re gonna be amazed at the political coalitions that have sprung up in France that, in many ways, mirror exactly what’s happening in the United States.

Condolences to Cookie Gleason on the Loss of Her Mother Joan: The Kind of Lady Who Built America

RUSH: Cookie's mother was a role model. She just had so much respect and admiration and was so proud of her mother. It's a really, really deep loss because they had such an ongoing, deep connection. I neglected to mention that. It's an important aspect and characteristic to this. It's an enviable one, too, to have that kind of pride and respect and admiration for your parents. That's a gift.
