RUSH: Donald Trump is looking into canceling the debate.

RUSH: Last night on Hardball Chris Matthews spoke with Washington Post columnist Eugene "Sugar" Robinson about Romney saying that Obama had pursued a foreign policy of appeasement...

RUSH: I'm talking about the three people down here at the Southern Command on the other side of the glass.  I am going to go through all of their Twitter accounts.

RUSH: Think of that. Unemployment benefits create jobs.

RUSH: Hanukkah is not for two weeks, and he lit every candle in the menorah!

RUSH: You know, when Democrats steal, it's a tragedy for the thief, not the victims.

RUSH: In three weeks and one day it will be illegal to sell a 100-watt incandescent light bulb. And who did this?

The federal government!

RUSH: I'll tell you why it's a problem for me. Pure and simple, it is Ron Paul's foreign policy.

RUSH:  An American aerospace firm taught the ChiComs how to send a missile into orbit and keep it there and hit a target.

RUSH: The Republican Party is not a conservative movement.

RUSH: How could any of them look good?

RUSH: I've always been in favor of making people write their tax checks.

CALLER: I've looked at some examples on the website.  People are brilliant.

CALLER: I was really upset after the health care bill was passed through reconciliation, and I actually sat down and read the whole bill.  And the more I read the more fearful I got.

RUSH:  You do not get votes by being defensive.  You do not get votes by trying to repel attacks. You do not get anywhere defending anything.

Last August, Arlene Ackerman fired as superintendent of schools in Philadelphia. According to news reports, while she was in charge of city public schools,  graduation rates and test scores went up. But Ackerman clashed with community members, elected officials, and the teachers’ union -- which may say something positive about her leadership.

But it’s what happened after she got fired that caused a bigger firestorm. After accepting a $900,000 buyout, Arlene Ackerman filed for unemployment benefits.
