RUSH: The Drive-By Media is upset that the Weather Service will “erode public trust” by not reporting accurate forecasts the day before a storm. But they couldn’t care less about the bogus forecasts of climate doom that they’ve been reporting for decades.
CALLER: The reason I wanted to call today is, first, I wanted to tell you that I absolutely love your radio show. You tell the truth about America, and everyone needs to know it.
RUSH: Now, this is unhinged. I mean, this is like… This is… It's built off the idea that Putin and Trump are buddies, and so now Putin and Rand Paul are buddies.
RUSH: There have been numerous bits about assassinating Trump as there were with Bush. It doesn't seem to be that anybody's alarmed by it.
RUSH: Everybody is operating on the basis that it's gonna fail and blow up and how nobody wants the blame. What a bunch of gutless wonders that we have doing the bidding.
RUSH: You want another example of journalism as it exists today?
RUSH: I had this from yesterday, too, and I didn't get to it. You know why I didn't get to it? 'Cause it ticked me off.
RUSH: The perception of the economy is just it's going gangbusters, and it's up dramatically since the fourth quarter last year. But yet that does not translate into Trump's approval numbers, so the trend of economic numbers having no impact on presidential approval is continuing, and it started with Obama.
RUSH: There is this important thing called the rule of law, and even though they are abandoning the rule of law and flouting it, I don't know that the remedy is for lawlessness. In fact, I know that that's not the remedy. That's a barrier you don't want to cross. If you win by violating the rule of law, why ever pay attention to the rule of law again? So it's a slippery slope to go down, but I understand the temptation.
RUSH: Trump said two things that have the glitterati abuzz today.
