RUSH: It's not supposed to happen this way, just like the cabinet praising the efforts, happy to be there, looking forward to the future. The media, the Democrats, and other leftists in Silicon Valley are scratching their heads.
RUSH: If Millennials buy into the whole concept of sustainability, then you have two things you can do. You can either try to piggyback on that and get them to pay attention to what you want using the same verbiage and terminology. Or you can embark on a course to try to tell them how that's a crock, that sustainability is a ruse for which they've fallen. Both methods are worth attempting and trying.
RUSH: I think they're beginning to have their doubts about this. But we won't know 'til the votes are counted.
RUSH: There are millions of people fed up with this daily diet of drivel from the Drive-By Media. But the media thinks everybody in America is waiting with bated breath for Trump to be convicted. They're totally, totally out of touch. The disconnect between everything going on in Washington and the real country has never been wider.
RUSH: I saw a story that it was so hot in Phoenix that airplanes were not being allowed to take off… I'm sure that people who have no way of identifying the agenda in the news read this, and they walk away thinking: "Oh, my God! Global warming's really happening! It really is, Mabel! Look, they had to cancel flights — and just a week after Trump pulls out of the Paris climate accord!" The deception is constant.
RUSH: Katrina vanden Heuvel, she's the editor of The Nation with branch offices in Pyongyang and Moscow, and she has written a piece excoriating the U.S. media. She thinks the media is engaging in malpractice. She thinks the media is being duped and played for fools by the Trump administration every day.
RUSH: The left is on its way to losing David Brooks. David Brooks said he is beginning to be uncomfortable with the lack of evidence that Trump colluded with Russia.
RUSH: He may have done some risky or dumb things, but he's being blamed for being a "rich white kid," exhibiting his "white superiority," and he found out that it didn't get him anywhere. It's just amazing.
Bernie Sanders Tells His Facebook Followers to Fight Back in “Unprecedented Ways” Against Republicans Who Want to Kill People
RUSH: Most Americans think politics is a battle of ideas. And in this battle of ideas, they hear the Democrats say that Republican ideas are gonna kill people. And they end up running around on the precipice of mental imbalance, scared to death over what is going to happen to them simply because the people they admire and trust are lying to them about these things. Senator Sanders chose to pile on a week after the shooting at the congressional baseball practice. Unfathomable.
RUSH: I'm heartbroken today, as is everyone in our family, to say that my father-in-law, Richard Douglas Rogers, passed away yesterday afternoon in Honolulu… His legacy will live on through his wife, Penny, their four children and grandchildren. He is in all of their hearts, and his legacy will be exemplified in the lives they lead. Richard Douglas Rogers, gone way too soon. Until we meet again.
RUSH: No longer is this just gonna be a long list of stories that I might mention on the program. Now, you will get specifically the stories that I talk about on the program and a select list of a few others that I intended to get to but ran out of time. It's going to be more of a real-time base feature rather than just a generic list of places that I go to prep the show.
RUSH: California liberals are something special. They're in a class by themselves. Los Angeles has a program to help criminals avoid the county jail if they can afford it.
