RUSH: Using poor people they interviewed as a platform CNN offered two reasons why kids go hungry in America. The first is the government; the second is greed.
RUSH: My father-in-law, Richard Rogers. He's a Naval Academy grad. He graduated in the same class as Senator McCain. He is a brilliant individual, international businessman.
RUSH: They have not abandoned Trump. They love Trump. They are thrilled that Trump has not forgotten them in terms of the promises he made during the campaign. She goes to places that the Drive-Bys fear to tread. They will not go there. Coal country.
RUSH: They really believe that the planet is under attack and is being destroyed and may not be able to sustain life by the time these kids hit 65, which is roughly 30 years from now, 35 to 30 years from now. And yet they're not willing to give a dime to the cause.
RUSH: How in the world can all of this be happening to a Republican president when the Republicans have control of the legislative branch? How in the world can it be happening? And of course the answer is self-evident. It's happening because the Republicans don't want to stop it. Now, why don't they want to stop it? That's where it gets interesting.
CALLER: I just recently got into politics, actually, right when I started listening to you. You've basically taught me how to do my research and really pay attention to history and focus on truth, really. And my daughter especially, she loves you to death. She's only nine years old and she really, really, really pays attention to what's going on in the world and has a big heart for people.
RUSH: So Bernie says, "Today in the White House we have perhaps the worst and most dangerous president in the history of our country." The day before shooting, Hodgkinson is in a mechanic's place, and he said Trump has screwed up the country more than anyone in the history of this country, using Bernie Sanders' exact words. So you can say all you want that Bernie Sanders is not responsible, and I understand people wanting to do that, but this guy Hodgkinson? Bernie Sanders was his writer.
RUSH: Anti-Trump enthusiasm is not sweeping America. It is where it is, and it’s where it’s always been since the election, but it isn’t growing. But the Drive-Bys want you to think something else. So 140,000 early voters, impossible to predict why and what that means.
RUSH: In a win for Asian-American rock band The Slants — and this has got possible ramifications, good ones, for the Washington Redskins. The Supreme Court has ruled that the government cannot refuse to register trademarks that are considered offensive. The government cannot do that.
RUSH: It is clear that we have a divide, a major divide in America that does not seem surmountable. It does not seem reparable. It does not seem like it is possible or even likely to find any common ground, when many Americans think that their number one enemy is the other political party, which is a fact on the left. Scary times.
RUSH: Every time militant Islamic Jihad happens, the left around the world, the Drive-By Media stand up and warn everybody to keep calm, do not retaliate. We must guard against the backlash against Muslims. It's never happened, there never has been a backlash against Muslims. But now they think they've got one.
RUSH: They had better get this talk of impeachment under control. This has gotta stop. They cannot be afraid to mention the word. No need to be timid here. This needs to be knocked out of the park. There isn't anything impeachable that has happened. It is outrageous that five months in this has become the narrative.
RUSH: No longer is this just gonna be a long list of stories that I might mention on the program. Now, you will get specifically the stories that I talk about on the program and a select list of a few others that I intended to get to but ran out of time. It's going to be more of a real-time base feature rather than just a generic list of places that I go to prep the show.
