F. Chuck Todd: The GOP Establishment Can’t Stand Trump’s Style — Which Was Perfected by Rush Limbaugh
RUSH: Moving the agenda is the thing. Winning is the thing! Keeping the Democrats on the defensive and in the minority is the thing, and to allow discomfort with Trump's personality to impede that?
RUSH: The only way the Republican Party could be imploding is if Trump voters were abandoning him, and that's not happening. Mrs. Clinton, what's really happening here is Trump is draining the swamp.
RUSH: What do you mean, did I see the news about Mark Halperin's sexual harassments? Of course, I saw that!
RUSH: Last week, McCain denied providing the dossier to BuzzFeed, said he only gave it to the FBI. "I gave it to no one except to the director of the FBI. I don't know why you're digging this up now," McCain told The Daily Caller. I hope he's asked about this every day. I hope he's asked, "What did you know and when did you know it?"
RUSH: Jeff Flake had already done the kamikaze long before he stood up for that speech. Jeff Flake didn't even see this as a kamikaze mission. You know what Jeff Flake was doing, Chris? Let me tell you what he thought he was doing. Jeff Flake, by standing up and making that speech and saying all these anti-Trump things beforehand, Jeff Flake was misreading America and the Republican Party, just like you guys do. Jeff Flake thought he was going to be treated as a hero.
RUSH: Look, let me cut to the chase on this dossier business, folks. You know me. I love to make complex understandable. Let me tell you what this is. When you strip all of these distractions away, the fake dossier was nothing more than an all-out effort on the part of the everybody inside the Beltway — the establishment — to get rid of this threat, this outsider threat posed by Trump.
RUSH: The media loves government. The establishment loves government. Government is the citadel around which all of them work and are organized. So government is innately good, and it must constantly grow. There must never be any limits on it. And Trump is wreaking havoc all through the government: judicial nominations, economic policy, executive orders, the regulations that he has canceled and prevented from being implemented just at the EPA alone have the left nearly bat crazy.
CALLER: This Uranium One deal makes Watergate look like a parking violation. And by you saying that Hillary won’t go to jail over the biggest national security scandal in U.S. history only serves to give her cover. The Democrats and the RINOs are gonna say, “Whoa. Thank God for Limbaugh. He just gave us an out.”
RUSH: The judge essentially said, "If you're gonna give away money, why should the feds also give away money?" Now, note that the AP points out the judge is an Obama appointee. They never do that, especially when a judge rules in the media's favor. This is meant to shame him by calling Judge Chhabria.
RUSH: The only way it makes sense is if Republicans versus Democrats does not include Trump in it. There is anger galore at the Republican Party. In that sense, it makes sense, particularly in the Senate, but also in the House. Remember 90% of Republicans voted for Trump. There isn't any divide in the Republican Party among voters. If 90% voted for Trump, what do you think that 90% expects Republicans in the House and Senate to do? Be on the same page with Trump.
RUSH: No longer is this just gonna be a long list of stories that I might mention on the program. Now, you will get specifically the stories that I talk about on the program and a select list of a few others that I intended to get to but ran out of time. It's going to be more of a real-time base feature rather than just a generic list of places that I go to prep the show.
RUSH: Politico reports that the Democrats. The Democratic National Committee is heading into 2018 in a “cash panic.” Donors are not giving money. The money problem is so bad that DNC operatives worry they won’t have enough to build their ground game for next year’s elections.
RUSH: I think this may be the scandal of scandals. It certainly is in the top three, and it is fascinating to me — not surprising in the least — that it's being ignored, especially being ignored by the publications that broke it.
There Was Never Any Evidence Trump Colluded with Russia — But Every Institution in Washington Has Been Corrupted by This Lie
RUSH: This has been a combined effort by establishment Democrats and Republicans using every branch and administration of government they can to destroy one man who won a duly elected campaign.
RUSH: BuzzFeed's not just this bunch of Millennial super-hip computer freaks. NBC owns 'em and runs 'em.
RUSH: What Trump's talking about is the Republicans — somebody — hired Fusion GPS to do the same thing to Trump that Hillary did, and he thinks he knows who it is, and I do too. I think I know who it is. But, in the event I'm wrong, I've got sealed lips. But I think I know who it is.
RUSH: The National Football League thinks that ratings are on the decline because there's too much football to watch.
RUSH: I got this note: "Dear Mr. Limbaugh: I want to buy an iPhone X. But I'm reading that they can't make nearly enough to satisfy demand on opening weekend. And then I was shocked when I saw that there's going to be some available in stores on opening day and Apple is suggesting people get there early. How can any of this be?" That is such a brilliant question, and I can give you the answer.
RUSH: The more Flakes the better. This is what draining the swamp looks like, folks. It was never gonna be pretty!
RUSH: The media is the power behind the Democrat Party right now. Whoever made the decision to get rid of Weinstein, why? Was it about to pop and it was gonna be so embarrassing to Democrats and they wanted to get out in front of it and be the ones appearing to discover what a reprobate he was and get rid of it? But they wanted him gone. They don't want him associated with the Democrat Party any longer for whatever reasons, and I think the same calculation's been made about the Clintons.
